awesome! What program do you use? I tried working on an appliqu design but it's just so complicated...

Btw, have you tried making them with a more rounded bottom part? I think that could look cool, or maybe that's just how I always imagine them:)

Thank you all so much!

MissingWillow: This exact one is in a wooden hoop and on the wall in front of me, for motivation:) But I'm probably going to stitch a bigger one in front of a sweatshirt and possibly make a messenger style bag with one on the flap.

AugustBell: Thank you, I had to look her up and now I want a new tattoo:D I've seen a lot of her work on pinterest and such, so she was probably a big part of the inspiration...

I have been trying to learn to digitize off an on for 4 years, ever since I got my second hand embroidery machine with the digitizing software, but never really found any resources that would help. Then I found Craftsy and there's a lovely machine embroidery course available. It's a bit slow if you've ever tried to digitize and know a bit about the programs, but I still learned so much through it already, even though I haven't even finished it yet. And here's my first design I would call successful:) I'm so excited I have to share it with the world.

I've been really into hipstery foxes lately, and this image was stuck in my head for a very long time. And now it's finally in stitches! There's still some thing I need to work on (or rather figure out what to do), but for the first time I'm almost completely happy with a design

I bought these shoe once for a party, in case I wanted to change into them from my high heels and then never wore them, because they were just so dull. But then I saw a girl wearing awesome Kenzo embroidered flats on a bus one day, and decided I might give something similar a try. And I think it worked out perfectly!

I used an Urban threads design from their pack Folklorico, which is my favourite pack of machine embroidery ever:)) Here's a "before" picture, if you're interested:)

More pictures & a tutorial (if the picture is not self explanatoriy enough Smiley) on my blog

When I started sewing, this issue of Burda was one of the first I bought and this model was one of the first I tried out. In chiffon. You can imagine it was a disaster Cheesy

Your jersey version looks great! Does it even need a zipper?

And here's the gorgeous fabric I got from goatgoddess. I hope my sewing machine gets fixed soon and I can sew a bag out if, because it's just perfect!

(the colours are a bit off, they are prettier in real life, I had to use my phone because all of my electronics are not cooperating and the camera doesn't want to work...)

I almost bought this issue of Burda because of this dress, but then decided against it. Now that I see your rendition I'm very sorry I didn't. Smiley (I might go look for it in the shops:) ). The dress looks great on you!
