I am glad so many are doing so well, I wish I could say the same.  Embarrassed

I had begun the wood work on the hammock for DoodleLou this morning, expecting to buy the perfect piece of material I needed today. But when I got to the store, there was not enough left. I considered  crying like a big baby, but that seemed, you know, babyish.  Wink

So now I am at a loss, do I look online for the material again? I already tried that once but could not find it.  Work in a completely different medium? I don't know, I will have to think about this one.

Can your store call others in the area or a little away to see if they have it, and if so, hold it for you to go get? (or better yet, ship it to your store?)

Yes, I fixed it so it works again.  I am pleased, though it's quite a bit different than my initial plan.  And in other news, I'm officially off work for the summer, so I will be able to get cranking on the main item!

My initial try at the extra I was going to add was going great up until the end.  And then it failed spectacularly.  SuperGlue didn't even help.  Alas.  Back to the drawing board on that one. Undecided

How about product and pattern reviews?  Or even a post with 'where to purchase X needed for pursemaking'?  Not sure if that'd go against the rules about advertising though. Perhaps for those new to purse making, maybe some definitions of common purse parts/terms?

Are you a button person?  You could do some really cool things with buttons, I think.  I think it'd look cool with small buttons in some sort of pattern on some of the little 'squares' that the woven design makes.

Or bows.  You could do one big one or a couple little ones.

Oooh, that's going to be awesome!  I love the floors, too, and your desk is very cool!

# of angels needed: 1 None!

The fabulous nessie is in need of an angel due to a few mix-ups.  She's waited super super patiently for her package, so I would need something to be sent within two weeks.  She lives in the USA!

A bit of her questionnaire, so you can see if you'd be able to angel ...

What do you grow?
TOMATOES (this year we are attempting 13 different varieties), lots of herbs, eggplant, peppers, onions, squash, spinach, beans, tomatillos, cucumbers, marigolds and more.  I am very well stocked on veggie and herb seeds, but I would appreciate flower seeds as I am just getting into growing them.
What's your region?  (For US residents, check out National Gardening Association) 4a
What things for the garden/gardener would you like to receive? I would love a screen garden tote (I love the one from a previous swap here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=296282.msg3434726#msg3434726 but I'm partial to something just a solid color) or a nice basket with a handle, a garden apron, birdhouse/hummingbird feeder, plant stakes for herbs (I can PM with the herbs I am growing if need be, though I already have some stakes for basil, rosemary, oregano and parsley), seeds (other than tomatoes and especially flowers), recipes, citronella candles, windchimes and decorated/handmade pots.  My favorite colors are sage green, verdigris/seafoam, wine purple, brown, robin's egg blue and dusty pink, and I love birds, mushrooms, leaves, vintage/antique style things especially floral fabric and paper, chippy paint and rust and anything earthy.  I love the look and uniqueness of handmade things, especially imperfections.  I would be happy with anything inspired by what I have written about myself/my garden or whatever else my partner can dream up.

Please PM me if you're interested!

Swap angel isn't needed!  Yay!
