3681  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Over 30 Fine Wine Geezer Swap Round 3 (Signups closed, Send by July 17 on: June 24, 2010 01:39:32 PM
I finished the main part of rottenlittleboys' package!  WOOT!  In that process I became intimately acquainted with my seam ripper.  In fact, I know it so well, it's demanding its own name.  Suggestions?

My seam ripper thinks it's name is g0d d@mn m0th3rf*******, since that's what I say over and over while I rip it. We've spent some quality time together this morning. Smiley

Ha!  Yes.  After the second time putting something on wrong (in two different ways, so at least I learn from my mistakes, right?) I was very close to calling it that too!

Now to figure out how to do part B and if the other bit of the package will come together into something I would want to receive, if I were rottenlittleboys.  We shall see on that score!

Hi Frugal Ladies,

I have a question and have tried using the search function, but it mocks me.  Did someone here (I think it was here) use contact paper to make fabric wipe-able with a sponge for sandwich wraps/snack bags?  And if not, what did you use?

Thanks!

Hmm, what about 'something found at a thrift store' or something similar?  It's general, but it could get a wide variety of items.  Or a pillow cover, an old blanket, old jewelry/beads ...

And just as a suggestion, I think a picture of the materials before being made into a bag would be a cool addition to the final product. Cheesy

Hi ladies!

I think this swap is finished.  Thank you all for a great swap and if there's any questions or issues with feedback, let me know!

Thank you givers for being so generous, and thank you needers for awesome thank you gifts.

And this wraps up our swap.  Thank you all so very much for being such awesome swappers!

Any interest in a Round 3 later this summer?

Thank you all so much for a great swap! Smiley  You all rock.

So ... anyone up for Round 3 sometime in late July?

I've made great progress the past couple days on the main item!  Woot!  I even conquered my fear of mitered corners.  Yay me.  Now to finish that up, do the accompanying bit and see if I can salvage the extra.  The extra is mocking me, alas.  But I'm pretty happy with the way the main item is turning out (even if my seam ripper has gotten a bit of a workout!)

I think I might just go through everyone's list and make one of my own as to who I can make things for......

That way when I finish my first claim I can start a new one straight away, once I claim it of course.....

Great idea, Tanza!  Cheesy
