Thanks for compiling a resource list. I haven't checked, but is there any chance you could put a link to the message in the first post of the thread? Then we don't have to try to find it when there are another 120 pages of chatter!

Smiley A link is on the first page, right below the link to the The List o' Frugality.

Oooh, a resource list!

See, this is why you're such an awesome co-org!  (Why clean when I can be compiling a resource list???)

If you've suggested a book/website, can you please PM me with the title (and author if applicable) ... a quick summary would be great, too!

No TV yet!  Funnily enough, when I got home, I sat down and automatically turned it on.  It took me a moment to realize and then it went right off!

By the way, have I mentioned to the teachers on the list, that if you have a local Joann's, they have a teacher discount program!  15% off your entire purchase, including sale items!  Very very handy.  I've found it never hurts to ask if wherever I buy things has a teacher/other type of discount program.  (It's amazing who does.  The one I remember off the top of my head that surprised me is J. Crew - too expensive for me though even with the discount!)

It looks awesome and I also just picked up her Growing your Own Vegetables book too.  I'll let you know what I think of it! (Good thing it's a 3 day weekend.  2 days to craft/read, 1 day for going out and about with a friend!)

On an organizer note: if you haven't yet checked in here yet this week, please do so!

onegroovyday - I'm so sorry about your poor pup!  At least everyone's going to be okay!

On a frugal note: I am loving my public library system just now.  I got 'America's Cheapest Family' out AND The Encyclopedia of Country Living came in, too.  I'm pleased with saving so much money when I may very well have gone out and bought it!  My next step is to get on paperbackswap.com.
3640  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Frugal-Along 2010 on: January 15, 2010 08:57:18 AM
I plan on making up a few cloth napkins for myself (I too have been using the kitchen towels).  My plan, since I hate figuring out how to mitre corners, is to sew wrong sides together, turn, and topstitch.
