Oh, this is beautiful!  The shark does look friendly (fish are friends, not food!), but I think my favorite part is the sunken ship. Cheesy

Actually, that reminds me. Do you have to claim for the same amount of people that have claimed you?

So so excited about this swap - am off shopping tomorrow!

Nope!  You just need to send one package.  Smiley

A few other reminders ...

  • Make sure you have a variety of items on your list.  If they're all one or two types of crafts, then you're limiting who can claim you!
  • This swap is for a medium item.  That means it takes around 2-3 hours to create.   I've seen a few things listed that I would classify as larges or extra larges, and while it's okay to put a few bigger items on the list, you should have mostly mediums.
  • Cross your items off your list so potential claimers know what you're already getting!
  • PM both myself (kaz814) AND Troublet with all communication.

Cheesy  Thank you!  I hope you all are having a lot of fun!

For the price of a can of beans, we can buy a bag of dry that will cook up to almost 4 times as many beans as canned. It's a lot easier if you have a slow cooker, also, because then you don't have the added step of soaking overnight.

Do you not soak them overnight before putting them in the crock pot? I still do, but maybe I don't need to have this added pain in the arse step? Interesting.....

I didn't know that either.  That might save me a ton of time!

Pretend I said this yesterday, but Happy Birthday to Morgan, Confuzzle and llisaredd!  I hope your birthdays are fabulous!

As I went to bed last night at 8:30 (seriously, it was needed), I didn't get started yet on Confuzzle's notecards.  I've got a baby blanket to make and a project bag for my mom for her birthday on the 15th, but I think I'm in a papercrafting mood so I might get started tonight!

Cheesy

This is such a cute idea and would make great Christmas gifts with a mug. (Okay I'm a couple weeks late, alas!)

A month or so sounds fine by me.  Smiley

# of Missing Packages Flakers: Unfortunately, the package going to witchybelle4u2 has apparently gone missing.  It had to be resent once and this time - a bit over five weeks out - there's no sign of it. Sad  So I'm looking for a quick turnaround time on this (2 weeks or so until sendout) as it's well past autumn.

witchybelle4u2 lives in the UK, so being willing to send to the UK is a must!

A few bits from her questionnaire ...

What are your favorite things about fall? Hallowe'en, Pumpkins, candy corn, changing leaves, football, apples, going back to school, cuddley nights, all the best tv shows coming back...
Is there anything autumn-ish that you'd love to get? Anything that I can use to bundle up. Hats, fingerless gloves, scarves, a lap blanket, etc. etc. Anything Hallowe'en related. I'm a Halloween freak. (Probably because it's my birthday.) Anything football related. I'm a Patriots fan. Smiley I'm always in need of BIG purses. I don't travel light. An autumny purse or (even better) WIP bag would be cool. I've just gotten into cooking so any great fall recipes you know would be great too.
Favorite colors/patterns: My favourite colours are red, pink and orange. Any combination of these + black is better. Skulls, stars, leaves, ghosts, cows, etc. for patterns.
Favorite scents and tastes: Apple cider, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin pie, maple syrup, caramel apple, candy corn. Any of these in lotion, lip balm or soap would be amazing.

If you think you can be an angel for the fabulous witchybelle4u2 please PM me!  Smiley

ghilie, you totally made my morning.  I'm sitting at my desk giggling away at your experience with the beans (I totally empathize as I've been in that position myself!)
