3141  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Friends of Craftster Raffle Swap R9 FOCR R9 (Signups 12/27-1/21 Sendouts 2/1) on: December 28, 2010 12:26:03 PM
Alright, in cleaning out my closet (it's been on my 'to do' list for three years now), I found an old skirt I was going to donate.  However, it would make a great purse.  Only thing is ... can I use new interfacing?  As far my mental plans go, that'd be the only 'new' thing - the lining and such would also be from the skirt.

I really want to try a swap for the first time, but I really don't know what to do.  My birthday is January 20th.  How can I be a part of this?  It sounds like so much fun!

Hi nazarets!  On the 1st, I will be posting in the 'Craft Swaps' board with information about how to join and what the requirements of the swap are.  Basically, you just need to send in a questionnaire to me and Troublet and we'll add you.  Then you pick something off a list to make for someone else. Smiley  I hope this helps!

Oooh, hmm.  This is tempting!  I need to figure out what I could make.  I've got a wool sweater that could be fulled and cut up into something ... need to figure out what!

Hi Miss Barbara!  Yes, you're going to make a list of medium-sized crafts you want and someone will pick you.  But you also have to pick another birthday girl/boy to craft for as well.  You have to send out at least one present to someone else - and anyone who isn't having a birthday can join too, only they just send a package.

Does that make sense?

What do Elvis, Kate Middleton, Mary J. Blige, Martin Luther King Jr, Michelle Obama, Paula Deen, Shawn Johnson and my mom all have in common?  They're all January birthday babies!

Are you one of their number?  If so ... the January Birthday Swap will be opening on Jan. 1!  It'll be a lot of fun, so join us!
