SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Thrifty D-Rings

I just wanted to drop a note to let you guys know some of my D-ring searching secrets! There are TWO kinds at most walmarts (all three here are the same way) There are the kind that cost 3 bucks and are in pretty packaging in the sewing area...BUT, if you go to the buttons area and check on the twirling racks of buttons, for .96 cents you get two pairs of D-Rings.
PS You can also find awesome buckles by buying cheap ugly belts in thrift stores and hacking them.

I went to Michaels the other day...and I was wondering, do any of you notice that so many of the ideas in Michaels seem as if they came directly from Crafster? I mean, instead of marble magnets they sell acrylic "marbles" with magnets already included (but for like 10 bucks) They also sell boxes and stuff to collage them with (the fun of collaging is buying your own stuff to do it with!) Then...it really hit home today. In ElleGirl for this month, they have an advertisement for paintchip wallets sold at 25 bucks a piece! I mean...WOW...thats crazy! Is it just me, or are these big craft company people hitching themselves on the internet to research? If I were you guys, and I was selling my products, I'd get copyrights and stuff on them quickly.

NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Tutorials all in one place?

I really do love what you guys have been doing here, everything is wonderful and so concise. I only have one small complaint, actually it is more of a suggestion, really. Many of the tutorials seem to be kind of blocking some of the topics, such as the square bottom bag tutorial, or the sophia loren stencil tutorial. With those always on the top of the list, we have to scroll down to see what is actually a new project. My suggestion is to add a new folders, such as "Clothing Tutorials" one tutorial folder for each of the major folders, just to put the very helpful tutorials in. Just my input for an easier to navigate craftster.
