
It's not perfect, but it's a start! I watched a few video tutorials on YouTube before giving this a go, and I think I might be addicted now.
A few things I learned:
Nuno felting requires more wool than you may think. I've always heard that it doesn't require much wool at all, but I think that's just relative to what is required in wet felting. I had a few bare places in the piece because I didn't lay enough wool down.
Nuno felting requires patience and strong triceps, two things I don't have a lot of. I'm working on it, though!
Nuno felting shrinks. A lot. My scarf ended up a little short. On the dress form it looks okay, but it's definitely too small to wear.
I'm going to try another one soon, but with different fabric and more wool.
