1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: What can you do with a unsellable, collecting dust textbook? on: January 26, 2011 02:14:36 AM
i HATE the thought of tearing up books. cant you ebay it, where you can set your own postage or donate it to a library , if not a regular one then a college/university one. when i studied i loved all text books cos you could map the change in what people thought (i did psychology, as science improved and people found more ways to carry out experiments and they got new findings, this was awesome for history or psychology)
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / old game controllers on: January 25, 2011 08:10:54 AM
hi
i have three old nes controllers and i already know what i want to do with them (gifts to celebrate an event with friends, well thats all im saying without sounding too geeky)

but my issue is i want to paint them and im seeing a lot of conflicting advice online and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to do it. i wanna give them a bright base colour then black and white fine detail on top
