This was my first go around using petersham ribbon as a facing. I altered Amy Butler's Barcelona Skirt using Sandra Betzina's Power Sewing book as a guide.



The fit is fantastic. The only thing I don't like is the gap at the top. A button tab and hook & eye took care of it, but I'm going to work on figuring a different way of handling the top next time I use the petersham ribbon. Here's a picture of the inside of the skirt, showing the ribbon:
