1  Denim Barcelona Skirt with Petersham Ribbon Facing in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by diony1 on: November 03, 2009 08:57:58 AM
This was my first go around using petersham ribbon as a facing. I altered Amy Butler's Barcelona Skirt using Sandra Betzina's Power Sewing book as a guide.

The fit is fantastic. The only thing I don't like is the gap at the top. A button tab and hook & eye took care of it, but I'm going to work on figuring a different way of handling the top next time I use the petersham ribbon. Here's a picture of the inside of the skirt, showing the ribbon:

Does anyone else have any experiences with petersham ribbon? I would love to hear about it!
