1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Wiking and crazy catlady (with spidercats) on: September 11, 2010 03:13:30 AM
hehe welcome to do that... oh and I could take the cats off and throw them at people..(which I didn't do since we were in an old barn surrounded with candles hehe) they were originaly put on with velcro, but it didn't last, so I kinda just entangled them in the "scarf"

hehe thanks yeah it was actually a nice simple one to make (was kinda crammed with time) but this year the big costume will be mine... mwuhaha although I do have to play with latex for the monsters forehead which I have no experiance with... so.. we'll see hehe

hey all

so I finally got to posted my halloween costumes from last year (I'm fast I know)
first halloween ever, so it needed to be scary costumes...

my boyfriend Anders always says he's a wiking (we're danish so we all are I guess) so naturally I made a wiking costume for him.... made it all myself exept the hat and the axe, and the shirt some of our friends made (a real wiking shirt actually) since I've never sewn anything from scratch I failed at my attempt hehe.. the cape is made from to scratches from our curtains, the skirt and bootcovers are from a leather jacket and a fur coat, I basicly just made holes and cut some leather strings and tied it all together.. oh and the shield was fun, and got a bit more realistic after one of our friends stepped on it several times the night before in a drunken haze hehe

for me it was crazy cat lady, which was pretty easy, found some ugly clothes, tore it up a bit, made some cats from tights (which turned out as spidercats since I made the legs a bit too long hehe)

so... piccies!

anywho.. any thoughts?

looking forward to this years... frankensteins monster and drusilla from buffy wuhu
