7  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: Yoohooo! Perth Craftsters? on: September 26, 2009 02:32:36 AM
All the cool people moved to Melbourne..

(Well, if you ask the people here that's what they'll tell you, anyway!)

I have met people when I am doing a small project in a public place.. waiting for a friend, or public transport, instead of reading a book I work on something in a small hoop or frame.. people come up and talk, and I've made crafty friends that way..

Hope you find some like-minded souls soon.  Smiley

I find dried fruit makes a good addition.. mixed with some green tea you can get some lovely flavours.

Though more often than not I find I need the caffeine hit of a coffee!  Smiley

Not exactly sure if it's what you're looking for, but you might try spacetrader beads? they have all sorts of glass beads and pendant stuff...
