4  Homecoming dress! (inspired) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by aribobari on: October 27, 2005 07:05:01 PM
...thanks to marc jacobs. (thanks again.)
I modified majorly a new look pattern. if you're interested i'll find the number. yes, it WAS a three dollar pattern. (yaaaay walmart!)
ORIGINAL MARC JACOBS DRESS:

MY DRESS:

-I finished it JUST in the nick of time. like, with no room to spare seriously.
-the top part is indeed not crooked  Grin
-i do not suggest using bridal satin (my bad.) CAUTION: ANY DROP OF LIQUID PERMANENTLY STAINS UNLESS ENTIRE DRESS IS WASHED.
-yaaaaay i was happy. i did my own hair for the first time in...forever haha.

Tongue tell me what you think!

6  Hurricane Katrina Hat in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by aribobari on: September 03, 2005 06:56:59 PM
Well, I don't know if I will send it in or not, because i doubt they need hats.
If you have seen my other posts, you have seen this fabric. I am trying to use it up there's SOOOO much of it!! ahhHhhh! attack of the walmart fabrics! ok anyways, here it is, modelled by my small-headed care bear  Wink

FACTS:
*There is stuffing on the top part and the ear panels.
*The top is quilted.
*tags on the side
*the black bead i would not reccomend getting on to anyone unless they want to stab themselves with a needle.
*it is sized for a smaller child.

Should i send it?no?

Tell me what cha think!

Well, When I go and buy fabric (it's gonna be the same colors) it'll be that big. but not yet.
for now, it's....walmart fabric...and doll sized. So, without furter ado... Wink

I cut her hair tooo! yay!

10  Re: Back To School Supplies Craftalong in Craftalongs by aribobari on: August 15, 2005 10:21:15 AM
Yay! I FINALLY got pics up of my notebooks! All I used was my excess scrapbooking supplies!
I Faded my last name out, so excuse the bad work on it. (2nd and 3rd one)
NOTE: None of them are crooked. hehe. bad camera-ing skills.

1. The heart is surrounded by red fuzzy stuff i hot glued on =D The heart is paper, the letters are sbooking letters and the tiles are sbooking tiles. I will put the subject in the label area.

2. "In the Zoo" Theme. The sign says "Please don't feed the Animals" Subject in label area. Random hearts, popcorn, and animals everywhere.

3. I was inspired by Pottery Barn Teen Beribboned bedding, and used excess string stuff, crimped some paper, and put bubble paper and a stick on tag on it.

Hope you all like! I had lots of fun! I'm going to start on [insert what is next here.]!!

Just a friendly reminder guys--school supplies! Not politics! yay!  Wink
