Thanks to the tutorial from this lady (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=388872.0) I made myself an awesome dress!

Look look look! I found this dress in a thrift store for only €1 (= 1.42800 U.S. dollars  ) I thought the print of the dress was great, but it was waaay oversized and I could never wear it, right?


(Voor = before reconstruction, na = after reconstruction)

So I decided to make a romper out of it!


(yup I know, it's a bit see-through)



I'm so happy with how it turned out! But a little note to self: make the crotch a bit lower next time, because I can't really raise my arms up high.

Here's what I did: a bit of tailoring, adjusting the straps (they were tie-in-the-necks) and taking in the length of the dress.
I did a pretty good job, I think.

I'm ready for summer!

This is a dress I found in a vintage shop for only €1. Can you imagine?!



I immediately loved the fabric, but I didn't like the length, the sleeves, ... I kinda felt like a strict school-teacher wearing it (hence the face)

So I decided to customize it a bit. I shortened it and cut the sleeves off.

A skirt I made a while ago, when I was still following sewing classes. I looooooove the roses on the fabric, super romantic and super cute. (I think)

A year ago I bought a Blackberry phone, but didn't like the unpersonal covers they sell in the store, so I decided to make a cover myself!

May I proudly present, the second version. It looks a lot better and fits my Blackberry perfectly! I love it!


The first one was a big fail, allthough I liked the print a lot!

Hello there!

The fabric was cut last year, back in the time when I was still following a sewing-class. Unfortunately, I had never finished making the dress, but a couple of weeks ago I saw it lying around and finally finished it!





Only one question, should I shorten it 'till knee-length? I'm not completely satisfied the way it is right now, think it's a bit too long..
