21  2 T-shirts, 1 dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by eliskimo on: November 26, 2011 05:09:10 AM
Thanks to the attack from this lady (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=388872.0) I made myself an RAAR grr ugggh dress!

Before: two oversized shirts I didn't wear

After:

You can take some silly photos and put the collar over your head

Or you can wear it off the shoulder!

Tell me what you think!

Here's my version of the dress!

You can also wear it off the shoulder

Or on top of your head, acting like mother Maria

23  Button up grandma dress to romper thing in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by eliskimo on: June 28, 2011 03:34:27 AM
Look look look! I found this dress in a thrift store for only 1 (= 1.42800 U.S. dollars  Wink ) I thought the print of the dress was great, but it was waaay oversized and I could never wear it, right?

(Voor = before reconstruction, na = after reconstruction)

So I decided to make a romper out of it!

(yup I know, it's a bit see-through)

I'm so happy with how it turned out! But a little note to self: make the crotch a bit lower next time, because I can't really raise my arms up high.  Cheesy

Let me know what you think!

24  From not-so-cute to supercute summerdress in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by eliskimo on: June 28, 2011 03:28:13 AM
Here's what I had:

Here's what I did: a bit of tailoring, adjusting the straps (they were tie-in-the-necks) and taking in the length of the dress.
I did a pretty good job, I think.

Here's what it looks like now:

A light and comfy dress, ideal for those hot summer days!

Let me know what you think Smiley

25  Grams dress into cute dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by eliskimo on: June 18, 2011 10:54:39 AM
I'm ready for summer!

This is a dress I found in a vintage grave for only 1. Can you imagine?!

I immediately loved the fabric, but I didn't like the length, the sleeves, ... I kinda felt like a strict school-teacher wearing it (hence the face)

So I decided to customize it a bit. I shortened it and cut the sleeves off.

How pretty is the front?

Let me know what you think and enjoy your Saturday evening :-) (or at least here in Belgium it is Saturday evening :p )

26  swirly skirt! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by eliskimo on: June 18, 2011 10:50:22 AM
A skirt I made a while ago, when I was still following sewing classes. I looooooove the roses on the fabric, super romantic and super cute. (I think)

It looks uneven, but I swear it's not!

With a zipper

And an (uneven, yes) waistband, haha, but still proud!

Let me know what you think. Tips & tricks are always welcome!

27  'Sloppel' zombie chicken in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by eliskimo on: June 18, 2011 10:36:48 AM
This is a zombie chicken I made for a give-away on my blog.

Her name is Sloppel, which means goodnight in Dutch (or better, the dialect they speak in Antwerp).

With supercute bow and hair:

And a strawberry heart!

Let me know what you think :-)

but when you open it, it shows strawberries!

29  Flowery phone case in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by eliskimo on: January 02, 2011 03:15:11 PM
A year ago I bought a Blackberry phone, but didn't like the unpersonal covers they sell in the store, so I decided to make a cover myself!

May I proudly present, the second version. It looks a lot better and fits my Blackberry perfectly! I eat it!

The first one was a big fail, allthough I liked the print a lot!

C&C appreciated!

P.S. A very late Happy Newyear to all of you!

30  one selfmade dress coming right up! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by eliskimo on: July 26, 2010 11:11:54 AM
Hello there!

The fabric was cut last year, back in the time when I was still following a sewing-class. Unfortunately, I had never finished making the dress, but a couple of weeks ago I saw it lying around and finally finished it!

Only one question, should I shorten it 'till knee-length? I'm not completely satisfied the way it is right now, think it's a bit too long..

C&C appreciated!
