I started this blanket more than a year ago and I plan on using up all of my scraps finishing it. It is rather large
. I wanted it to be big enough to be like a bedspread for a queen sized bed. So, in the picture, the part that is going up and down is really the width of it and the width in the picture is only how far up I have made it so far. (I always make things waaayyy too big. I should post a picture of my 18 yo son trying on a dress I tried to make for my 4yo, lol). Anyways, I layed it on a futon and I put my cat on it to show scale. This is a great project that I always return to when I need to take a break from whatever I am currently working on. It is just double crochets so I don't have to think, and can watch a movie while working on it.
Here is a picture of my scrap collection to use in the blanket. I have 4 Ikea containers full of balled up yarn at my disposal.
