Here is the AWESOME stamp that I received from the very talented Wulf:

I love it!!  Thank you so much!  Your ability to carve into tiny spaces and make perfect shapes/letters is amazing~

To my other partners:  The person who shares my post box picked up my other packages  Undecided  I'm hoping to get them from her tomorrow so that I can see the stamps you've made!  Sorry for the delay!

12  Woven wool ~ Entrelac Cowl in CHALLENGE 96 ENTRIES by Koreena on: March 09, 2014 08:58:26 AM
Hello!  I made this lovely cowl for the Friends of Craftster Raffle round 11 Swap.  Waggonswest was my 'winner' Smiley

Here are a few photos that I took before sending out:

No actions shots, sorry!

The cowl was made using a *free*pattern on the Lion Brand website ~ I can't say I followed it exactly, but also don't recall what modifications I made.  The pattern is GREAT and very easy to follow.  If you've never tried entrelac because it seems to difficult & scary... trust me, if you can knit, you can make this!

I used 3 different wool yarns from my stash (Bernat Softee Chunky, Loops & Threads Cozy Wool, and Loops & Threads Impeccable) and LOVE how these yarns worked up together.  So soft & comfy  Smiley

Hope you like it!

Wow!!  I am loving all of the recent posts!  Gorgeous jewelry/cuffs, and LOVE the super cute dragon (and what a great, appreciative post!)!  If I hadn't just received the most amazingly well made and super cute foxy scarflet from our lovely organizer luckdragon, I would be jealous Wink

My photo doesn't do it justice, but here it is:

Am pretty sure I mentioned that my niece is absolutely crazy about foxy things these days, so it will definitely be her next unplanned gift!  luckdragon was sweet enough to throw in an awesome 'extra' for me, too (thank you!!) ~ Have never even heard of them, but she sent me a light-up crochet hook! What!!?  Now I can crochet in bed Wink  Woooo Hoooo Smiley

So glad I joined this swap~ exciting & fun! Thanks everyone, especially our organizers xo Smiley

I received from Jexxican today!!!  SO VERY happy with the SET of stamps she sent Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Please don't mind the upside-down Arigato or the terrible form I used when stamping these ~ Was in a mad rush and just wanted to get the photo up asap...  Her craftsmanship is flawless (as always), and I am looking forward to using all of these stamps!

Jexx - Thank you!!!  Love these!  Hope you like yours, too Wink

Here is the entrelac cowl that I have made for the Raffle ~ It is made with some really soft wool yarn that I love (love, love).  Have been told that I'm crazy not to keep this one...  Hope you guys like it as much as I do!!  Entrelac is surprisingly easy (for how tricky it looks) ~ I recommend trying it out, if you're looking for a new way to knit.  I love how quickly each block works up... Good 'on the go' project for sure.

Loving all of the other projects that have been posted so far Smiley  Feb 12 is actually my bday...  Going to be fun to learn about my surprise gift, too!

I'm in awe of all of these great packages! Wow!  I especially love all of the hoops, jewellry & what a great idea for the laundry soap  Wink  Never bad to have some good looking men helping with the chores!

I also sent a hoop to my partner, along with a bracelet & a Dean stuffie.  ...  She requested these things among others wish list, so I hope she was happy.  She let me know that she received a few weeks ago, so I'm going to go ahead a post some photos for her.  The questionnaire said that "Yellow Fever" was her favourite episode, and the scene where the cat scares Dean is her favourite part, so I watched the clip she provided and found a jpeg of his face

I translated it to felt/embroidery and created this hoop Smiley

Then I made a Dean stuffie (complete with necklace Wink) out of felt

Apparently I forgot to take a picture of the bracelet...  It was a crocheted embroidery floss bracelet with a black band and gold star charm in the centre.  Very simple, but I was happy with how it turned out.

Here is a picture of both pieces together, and one of Chubbs trying to keep the Dean doll Smiley

I hope you like them!  Thanks for organizing spikefan Smiley  Appreciate your work!

19  Re: Stitch Marker Swap Round 2 - Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Koreena on: June 16, 2013 07:13:09 AM
Hi everyone!  Sorry for taking a while to post these - I completely forgot that FairyHazeDesigns asked me to post photos of the stitch markers that I made for her...  Her themes were Fantasy, Color, color, color & use your imagination.  I combined the three - Here they are!

I saw these fairy charms at Michael's and new I needed to use them for her Smiley

I used embroidery thread and made up a simple 5 petal flower pattern, added 2 leaves & then used a chain for the loop.  Here are a couple of close-ups with my really ungreat camera:

Also, since I'm posting, here's another shot of the food I made for Ramona_Q ~ I really loved these & am planning to make more for me Smiley  Again, I used embroidery floss & a tiny hook to make/modify existing food patterns (found on Ravelry).

Watermelon slice, cherries, egg, ice cream, strawberry & olive:

Hope you like them & thanks again for a fun swap!!

20  Foxy Baby Outfit in Crochet: Completed Projects by Koreena on: June 03, 2013 04:57:03 PM
I think this might be my first non-swap completed project! My great friend is pregnant and has a forest theme going... She asked for a fox baby outfit for her baby's photos- so cute, right? Anyway, I couldn't find a pattern that I loved and so made up my own Smiley

I didn't write out instructions as I worked, but will try to update with a pattern later if I make another set.

Thanks for looking!
