I've seen some cool 3D art and I wanted to give it a try, and I love Shakespeare's Hamlet so I wanted to combine the two. This habitat is amazing, and Quillbur is probably the most amazing hedgehog name ever.

I've always love Van Gogh's Starry Night painting, except the village. So I decided to play around with it and cut out the village. Here are my versions.  Please excuse my terrible pictures.

This one was supposed to be a different ocean/beach scene for my living room and next thing I know it's a Starry Night version.

My mom once mentioned she wanted a painting of poppies. So for her birthday this year I painted one for her. It's 4 panels that add up to 2' x 4' total. I didn't get a chance to get pictures before I shipped it (lost camera) and her pictures of it aren't great so sorry about that.

These are amazing, makes me want to go buy tons of jelly beans.

  I redecorated our master bedroom recently, and everything was perfect except a huge empty wall. It needed something but I couldn't find anything perfect enough for it. So I thought I'd try making something. Worse that happens is I don't like it, right? I've always liked dandelion art but I needed some color so this is what I came up with. I'm not sure they are dandelions now but whatever. I used an XL canvas. I created the background using different shades of grey and purple and sprayed it down with water for a rainy-streaky effect, which turned our great...but warped the frame. I'll have to fix that, until then I can't hang it up. Then some brightly painted flowers, which I kept tweaking because I couldn't settle on if they were okay or not. In the end, its everything I could have wanted for the space.
Please excuse the mess on the dresser. My DH likes to put just about everything on it.

I grew up spending most of my time with my dad. He gave me a love for comic books, superheros, doctor who and just about everything slightly "geeky". Which is hip these days with all the comic book based movies. I painted these and while I watched the Doctor save the day, I made these 2-3 inch tall owl superhero plushies. Also made a Doctor owl plushy. The paintings are 8x10.
