1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Wedding dress, leggings & more... on: December 01, 2010 11:18:20 AM
I love your wedding dress! The black border and peaks up top and that gingham waistband and trim are so graphic and eye-catching and still so elegant. Plus your whole look so fun and deadly glamorous. AWEsome combination. I have to say I love the color on your bridesmaid too. You guys look gorgeous. Well done to the both of you, and keep us updated if you start a shop!

Wow!!! Incredibly cool, and very inspiring!  Shocked Shocked Shocked
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: I finished my own Muppet Quilt on: October 19, 2010 06:31:11 AM
Wowie! Did you use pattern pieces? They look fantastic. I think my favorite is the mix of the yellow prints in Big Bird's head. Really inspiring, nice job!
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Frick me, I'm never making another quilt! (pic obese) on: October 19, 2010 06:27:52 AM
Hilarious! That sounds like me, deciding that you're hot stuff and getting ambitious. I think this is great. The Aquarius fabric is brilliant, I love the tiki heads, and the mix of colors is really nice. I love that you have your grandmother's table cloth, too. Putting personal history in a quilt is just the way it should be.

So pretty! I could stare at this for hours.
6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Whimsy Baby Quilt on: October 19, 2010 06:21:16 AM
Really pretty! I've never seen prairie points before, I'll have to try them. I think the recipient of this quilt will use it for a long time -- many baby quilts in all pink or in pastels seem babyish pretty quickly, but this is just straight-up gorgeous.

I love the look of that that wavy quilting. Very impressed you could do it so well without a quilting foot! Everything I've quilted without a walking foot looks, eh, 'homey.'
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Where have I been? on: October 19, 2010 06:01:31 AM
Cuuute!  Cheesy These give me hope that I, who can only crochet simple flowers, can one day work my way up to making figures. I love the little one-eyed fella, although they're all pretty sweet. Nice backdrop, too!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: mushroom wrap top on: October 05, 2009 10:28:37 AM
Very cute! I saw this mushroom fabric at my local craft store and lusted after it, and I love what you've done with it. I'm a big fan of anything wraparound, pinafore, or apron-y. My clothes are very plain, so projects like yours give me hope for snazzing up my look someday. This top would also look great with a lime green or yellow shirt. Cool
