Hello Craftster community! It has been a while  Grin

So here is a quick run down of a gift I recently gave, The zombie planter! This entire project cost $12.59, (plus dirt...which is free)

I bought my hand plaster at Michaels Craft store. (http://weeklyad.michaels.com/coupons) I used the 50% off coupon, so it cost me about $11.00

I also used a scrapbooking sheet of brown paper for the planter tag. I think it turned out much better than plain white cardstock. It cost .59

Lastly, I picked up a planter from the dollar tree ($1.00 of course)

There are instructions inside the plaster kit on how to cast your hand. After the hand is cast, wait a good 13 hours. I didnt wait the full 24 hours that it suggested because I am impatient. After the hand was dry enough, I used makeup foundation and painted it directly onto the plaster hand. Then I took my eye shadow pallet (http://www.coastalscents.com/makeup/eyes/eye-palettes/pl-001.html) and a thin brush, and detailed the hand. I used brown, and green to give it a deteriorated look. Lastly, I scrubbed dirt all over it! yay

Here was my finished project.

These are the tags I used (I googled zombie planter tag) if you don't scale them down, they will be as large as the tag in my photos

Does the super sculpy harden? Do you have to bake it? Or spray it with something?  My brain cannot comprehend how you did this

You are my hero! I attempted this style of cake. Not even the ombre design, just frosting roses. It shall forever be remembered as the cake punching incident of 2010.

Cute - I love the pretty old teacups from secon-hand stores, but I always drink my coffe from mugs. So this is a funny way to use them.

Saveonscents.com sells chocolate (hot cocoa), mocha, coffee scented oils that would work great for a coffee mug candle ^.^
