1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Tis the Season on: May 14, 2016 09:17:45 AM
A new finish! This is Tis the Season out of the Joyeux Noel book from Blackbird Designs. It's on 32 count Vintage Fawn with Belle Soil silks. It's my first Christmas piece for ME!

2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Little Dobby, He's a free elf! on: December 10, 2015 08:07:41 PM
I sculpted this for a Harry Potter Holiday Swap and since my partner has received him, I can share him! It was my first time with polymer clay. I've thrown/sculpted regular clay for a while now...but I quite like polymer too! I'll be using it more for sure.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Blackwork Biscornu on: August 26, 2015 08:24:48 PM
I taught Blackwork last summer (and this summer) at a renaissance themed summer camp for adults. I made my piece into a Biscornu. I haven yet finish finished the design we stitched this summer tho... Shocked

5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Star Trek crafting assistance needed! on: June 11, 2014 01:36:54 PM
Let me preface this by saying I'm not a Trekkie...my husband and friends are. There is a summit their 'ship' is organizing/planning and they've asked for my crafting assistance in making MANY things. The one thing I'm stuck on is Latinum. Gold Ferengi money. (I had to look that up  Huh)

Initially I thought of making it out of plywood or something and spray painting it but they want TONS OF IT so it needs to be relatively easy to make and cost effective. Smallest piece to largest piece they want 400, 400, 300, 20 pieces. Pray tell...what are your ideas?

Thanks in advance!
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / A Needle book on: May 05, 2013 12:25:12 PM
I felt like a little Sunday morning crafting so I made myself a felt needlebook. (It's entirely possible this is in the wrong place. My apologies if it is.)

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / A very little gingerbread mouse on: November 15, 2012 03:44:09 PM
It's not my own design, it's a limited chart by Just Nan but I love it just the same.
