I don't crochet very often, but I'd LOVE to try this pattern. How difficult would you say this is?

count me in!!!! I was just thinking about how big and obnoxious my stash is currently. haha, now I have motivation to solve that problem!

My sister is going on 12 and has a December birthday, thus I need to make her both a Christmas and a birthday present. I've already thought of one idea (an embroidery of the princess and the pea--her favorite fairytale) However I can't think of a second one! She likes make-up and watching movies/T.V. She's also insists that she loves art even though she hardly ever does any. (she has canvas from her last birthday that she still hasn't touched) Any ideas? Suggestions?

I love this! It kinda looks like the wire is a metal plant that grew through the watch. Kind of a nature taking over, if that makes sense. Beautiful work. 

i wanted to do a mosaic in a window frame, but I want the picture to be visible on both sides. so that if i put it up in the window, you can see it from both sides. i was wondering if you had ever done something like that before and if you just set it up on butcher paper and then just peel the paper off once it's dry? if you don't know, it's ok, i'll use trial and error to figure it out. lol

fantastic! i've been trying to learn how to do this, but not been wanting to buy a $30 book just to learn. i have one question though, what if you want to do one that is seen from both sides, like putting it in a window frame. what would you suggest i use as a surface to work on so that it will peel off after it's dried?
