1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Four Acrylic Paintings *Language Warning* on: January 25, 2010 01:26:17 PM
These are three large paintings, done on poster board (regretably, I would've preferred canvas).
First up is the B*tch Please Jellyfish. I love this painting, it's just so much fun with the colors and the one jellyfish stands out so much Smiley

Next is the pentapussy, Penta because there are only five tentacles. Again a lot of fun with such bright colors.

And this photographed absolutely horrendously... There is red at the top, gradiating to almost yellow at the bottom. Black paint splatters all over. It says Je suis exaspere, which means I am exasperated in French. That is exactly what this painting came out of.

Lastly, this painting was done on a canvas about the length of my hand. It was a Christmas present to my grandma, who (very surprisingly if you knew my grandma), has it sitting in a frame on top of her tv Smiley
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Two Mixed Media Works on: January 25, 2010 01:16:56 PM
These are both inspired by Leonardo DaVinci, and have a slight steampunk feel in my opinion. There are several layers of old pattern pieces to start with.
This is on top of a miniature sketchbook. The cogs are in gold acrylic paint, the splatters are black watercolor, and there is actually the lyrics to White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane in bronze gel pen, written backwards.

I really wish the picture for this one turned out a lot better. It's so much more gorgeous in real life. This is actually quite large, a foot and a half across at least. There is gold paint pen, brown watercolor, white pencil crayon for accent bits and black sharpie for the backwards writing. The writing is just random little blurbs on the corset design. Someday I will make this corset Smiley
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / A Few Watercolor Paintings (Warning: Som slightly disturbing) on: November 28, 2009 10:53:24 AM
All of these were done in art class at school. I'm not sure how much time they took though since they all varied. Sorry for the rather shoddy pictures.
This one is Afternoon Garden Party. Meant to be an abstract.

Just for Rememberance Day (Interpret as you wish)

The rest are inspired by the works of Egon Schiele.
Poor Ana: The words in the background are the lyrics to Protege Moi by Placebo in English and French

Pensive: The Background is done in coffee

I'll Give You My Heart...: Again the background is in coffee
