Love the ornament material!

I found Holly at a fabric store in England about 12 years ago.  She came pre-printed with a story as well as some ideas for how to decorate her. 

I added green pipping to her hat, made her lace collar, added lace to her stockings and sleeves, made berries for the holly in her basket, peiced ribbon to make her stockings, and embroidered her skirt and the braiding on her jacket.  When she was finished I stuffed her and hand sewed her together.

My friend lives at the beach and loves sailing.  For her birthday I wanted to do a sailing themed present.  I found a wooden sail boat hook and decided to decorate it to match her room.  I was a lot of fun to make.

I think they are adorable! I like that they look a bit whimsical.  As for the pipe cleaners, I like the blue one because it kind of looks like snows falling but I agree I'm not sure I like the star one. Great job
