1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Etsy Shop being redone on: September 12, 2009 12:17:26 PM
I was in one of the labs the other day on etsy and was able to get a team critique.  such a great way to know what i was doing right and wrong.
I have started to redo all my photos since until yesterday i was using a scanner to get pictures of my altered art domino necklaces.  the new pics look pretty good to me but opinions are needed.
also one suggestion was to do something with my banner but i am at a loss since nothing is ever a certain type of item being sold.  i have mostly the dominoes but also will be adding many different new items that are from all forms of craft media.    any suggestions for a new banner that offers a visitor an actual glimpse at what they will see when they scroll would be great
i am at amerayn.etsy.com

4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Hidradenitis Suppurativa aka Acne Inversa on: September 12, 2009 12:02:51 PM
Hello
I am on a mission to make a soap that will not irritate a condition known as Hidradenitis Suppurativa or Acne
inversa.
I have the condition and everything i have used makes the condition worse.
Castile soaps are great but there has to be more to life that olive oil soaps so i am looking and searching every where i can to learn about new combinations that might offer non pore clogging, soothing, healing, and antibacterial all in one.
The condition results in non contagious sores in areas where you sweat and the sores can sometimes be the size of golf balls.  the acne runs inward causing long deep sores.  because of the full grossout factor of the condition i will say only that and leave the rest up to you to research the condition if you want to know more.

Glad to have found this site and cant wait to read more and chat with others.

Everything i craft and sell on etsy and at open air markets raises money for caring for abused and neglected parrots.
