3  awesome piggy bank in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by talkingpoptarts on: September 13, 2009 12:36:20 PM
Im not one to judge the companies that sell things for an insane price, but ehh.
I took my brother shopping today because i was forced and once again he wanted to buy a bunch of crap that he didnt need.
He saw this really cool piggy bank, it wasnt a pig but he thought it was cool since he likes to collect his change.
I looked at the price and it was 23$. Hello Supply-and-demand.
I told him that i wasnt gonna buy it for him, and he cried but whatever.
I came home and saw a finished pringles jar and from that i made his piggy bank which he loves because its made from goosebumps book pages.

materials
*pringles jar
*paper mache paste
*some sort of paper to cover the jar with

Directions
1)Make your paper mache paste which is relatively easy all you need is water and flour.
2) Take the pringles jar and wash the inside (mine still smells like pizza) and cut a hole in the cap thingy
3) i found double compies of some of the goosebumps books i had so i took the pages and ripped them into strips.
4) I started putting the paper machie on the jar and it came out awesome after like 3 or 4 layers.
5)let it dry and voila!

and this is how mine looks
