1  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Homemade Sprinkles? - Aint nobody got time for that! on: April 04, 2013 08:32:49 PM
Thank you for a wonderful idea. My family inhales sprinkles and I think my kids will get a kick out of making their own.

Very nice idea for a gift!
I have a fish tank - sans fish, poor little things - that might be fun to do this with.
Thanks for the "doomed from the start" comment; I kill houseplants with a consistency that is almost frightening and it will be nice to have someone else to blame!
Fish, too, hence the empty tank, heh.
Could you recommend a few plants that might be hardy enough for me?

I hope your Grandmother enjoys it; it's really quite lovely.

Happy Bats!  I love it; what a wonderful nursery your little man will have!

Love C Harper; never run across anyone who knows his stuff!
This is a great idea, his images are wonderful for crafty interpretation.
Best of luck, and I can't wait to see the final rug!

Drat, I've been wanting to do a swap and this is PERFECT - but - I'm going to be away all of September!  Sadness and Woe.  Hope you all have fun, though!

OK, saw this, started laughing and my Mom wanted to see.  She says she wishes she could knit!  Hilarious.  Thanks for a great laugh!

Love it!
I may have to make something like this for my son.

(Would you mind telling me how you attached it to the wall/tlt paper holder?)

"She is an odd doll though, to me, because you can trade her HEAD for other heads."

ewwww!
I think this would totally have creeped me out as a child but after the first shock we probably would have decapitated her on a regular basis. Princess Langwidere of Ev, you know.

The clothes you are fixing up look great. I tried to do this when I was a teen and can only be glad that I now have a son and won't have to try again for a while.  It was tough!
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tea Wallet! (...if the tea will just stay IN it...) on: April 04, 2011 02:41:07 AM
I think you did a good job, and the fabric is such fun.

If your stuff falls out (mine always did), you can turn the pockets 90 degrees so that the openings face the middle, then, even if the bags slip, they stay in the packet.  With that layout, you can also use velcro or a snap on the pockets to keep it closed.
Hope that makes sense.
