71  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: What about all the times I DIDN'T wear a tutu? Nobody ever remembers that. on: February 19, 2010 03:21:06 PM
This is cooler than a million dead bodies!  (And I bet it would look really nice in the place where Milhouse goes to cry)
72  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Star Wars Mini Amigurumi - lots of images! on: February 19, 2010 03:07:14 PM
These are so cute!  I think this is the most I've ever liked C3PO.  Smiley
73  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: How Bazaar! Corks 'n' Crochet on: February 06, 2010 04:45:24 PM
These are so cute!  And it'd be something to do with those stupid fake corks too.
74  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Mermaid Tote-bag on: January 23, 2010 08:42:15 PM
It's Ariel!  Smiley

I'm always so amazed by people who stitch every single square!  (I'm lazy and don't fill in anything that's the background color)

This is absolutely incredible!
76  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you say when people ask, did you knit that yourself? on: January 03, 2010 01:42:19 PM
I think for a lot of people "knitting" is just the verb for "making stuff with yarn".   Smiley

I bring cross stitch and crochet projects with me when I substitute teach, and the kids usually ask what I'm "sewing" or "knitting".  It's a lot easier to explain the difference between crocheting and knitting when I've actually got a hook, and some of the kids ask because they've got a family member who knits and/or crochets.

That is amazing!  My brother-in-law would love this!  (Too bad I don't love him enough to stitch something entirely in metallic floss)

This is so cute!
79  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: I'm a Doctor, Not a Pillow! on: October 04, 2009 03:54:47 PM
I can't remember if I commented on ontd_st, but I love this pillow.  You've inspired me to do a Spock one for my brother-in-law.  (Well, the cross stitch part, anyway.  I'm sure my mom will enjoy the "sewing it together" part.)
