1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Totoro hand carved stamps and stamped fabric on: September 16, 2012 06:21:35 PM

This is my first attempt at rubber stamp carving. Totoro and an Umbrella.

I decided to stamp some fabric Smiley Its 1m by 45cm... It took ages! I used versacraft fabric stamps and heat set them. I'm so happy with how it turned out, carving the stamps was so much fun! I will definitely be making more!!!

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Pumpkin Earrings on: September 13, 2012 07:59:55 PM
I'll be celebrating my first Halloween this year, I'm pretty excited! I get to teach all my classes dressed up! I thought I'd make some pumpkin earrings for the occasion Cheesy

I'll also be carving my first Jack O Lantern with a class full of 10 year olds! Pretty nervous about that! Any tips would be most welcome Cheesy
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Mario Bros Earrings on: September 13, 2012 08:29:27 AM
My partner says I had a deprived childhood because I never played Mario Land / Mario Kart... I disagree, but this week I played Mario Land on the 3DS for the first time... And I am ADDICTED!!! I have played it a lot, way too much! So in an attempt to get some crafting in I made these earrings Cheesy 1 UP yay Cheesy

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Alice in Wonderland White Rabbit Clutch on: August 27, 2012 06:44:34 AM
When I came across this fabric my heart skipped a beat! I'll say this for Japan, they sure know how to make cute fabric! So I grabbed some and brought it home before reason could take over my spending habits!

Such a sweet print needed a sweet design, so voila! A buttercup clutch purse! It's a slight alteration on Rae Holestras original Buttercup bag Smiley C&C 100% welcome!

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Crafty Wedding Swap on: May 12, 2012 05:34:08 AM
Inspired by the Going to the Chapel Swap originally organized by suzyscissors Smiley

Dreaming of a crafty wedding? Whether your single, dating, engaged or already married this is the swap for you! Any style/ theme of wedding, religious or not Smiley

I'm thinking a four point swap, with the possibility of one of those points being supplies if that's something people would be interested in.

I'd like sign ups to be late May with crafting for the month of June, would this be too soon for people? Let me know if you'd be interested!

This swap will be international, I live in Japan Smiley

Do you suffer from any allergies? none that apply
Are there any allergens in your home? (e.g. animals, smoking etc) hypo allergenic dog and a kitty (but kitty usually stays in her bedroom)
What mediums do you craft in? Most haha... Jewelry making, polymer clay, crochet, hand sewing, cross stitch/embroidery, always willing to try new things
What mediums would you like to receive? Home decor of some sort would be cool. I need fridge magnets. doggy toy? baby clothes and accessories (starting to collect things; no baby yet lol) I'd be happy with anythin, I'm sure!
Is there anything or any style you absolutely wouldn't want to receive? can't think of anything
What is your favourite breed of owl? I like the ones with little tufts of feathers sticking out; and unrealistic ones
Link to wist etc? http://pinterest.com/yennamuffin/
Anything else your partner should know? Not that I can think of

Please PM me if you would like to help out, it would be really appreciated!!! How Lovely

9  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Amazing online store on: June 08, 2011 04:55:20 PM
I found this store the other night: http://www.christinascrafts.com.au/ They are located in Melbourne, yay and they stock a lot of steampunk bits and pieces for crafting which I've been having trouble finding as well as so much vintage scrapbook paper!!!

They stock graphic 45, but not their Steampunk Debutante range, does anyone know somewhere they stock that? I really want it it's so beautiful!!!!
10  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / What swap are you going in??? on: June 08, 2011 12:44:31 AM
With increasing postage costs to send international it's getting pretty tricky to keep swapping Sad But maybe it would be easier if you could have an Aussie partner? So I was thinking, if you are signed up for a swap maybe we could record it here, then any other Aussie crafters who are interested in that swap could sign up too. Then you can P.M (don't post swap partner requests in the message board) the organiser to ask if you could be partnered. Obviously it wouldn't be a guarantee you get partnered but I think most organisers are happy to partner people within the same country if you ask nicely Cheesy

So post here:
  • Your Craftster Name
    The Name of the Swap
    The points/size of the swap
Sign up dates and send dates
A link to the swap on the swap boards

I just thought this might be a way to make swapping more accessible for Australian swappers Smiley[/list]
