11  Re: Ongoing Holiday List Swap Gallery and Discussion in The Swap Gallery by craftaddiction on: August 23, 2012 04:08:06 PM
cloud_berry claimed me for "tiny gifts". She sent tons! There are magnets and bookmarks. I can't pick a favorite. That lock magnet is such a great idea and the owl bookmarks are just too cute.

sweetyetevil sent amazing felt food for the kids on my list. I can't believe the detail on the strawberries. They have to be my favorite. I wish I had a use for play food Cheesy but I have no kids of my own. The jar is low sugar peach preserves. My dad is diabetic and he is just going to flip over it.

Lets hope things slow down just long enough to post this message  Grin
Kitty_Anne sent the cutest fabric gift bags. She used all different patterns. I love that they are all different. Only problem is that I don't want to give them away  Cheesy

TroubleT sent 4 etched wine glasses. The designs are perfect. She used 2 different ones. My parents are going to love them. Maybe TroubleT has better pics. I tried about 10 times, I cannot get good pics of the design.

I claimed texscrapper for a LSU stamp (2 times). She asked me to post pics. So here is what I sent (coasters, trivet, 3 stamps and magnets).

stellato_escuro sent a stuffie sleeping bag. She even sent a pillow. I love the fabrics. BF's granddaughter is going to flip. The size is great.

I thought I already posted pics of what kaz814 sent me. It seems my memory is getting worse (something I didn't think was possible). kaz814 claimed me for "5 tiny gifts". They are not tiny and there is not 5. There is 10! I was shocked when I kept pulling them out of the box. They are perfect. I so want to keep one for my self. They are cute and practicable. And I have enough for all the gift bags Grin If I don't steal one..... or 5  Wink

Thanks so much!!!!!

I received a great package from sweetyetevil. She sent... not one... but 2, surprise snowballs. The girls are going to love them, but there is no way they can love them as much as dad will love the soap she sent Smiley

Texscrapper sent me some beautiful ornaments. Sadly they didn't all make it in one piece, but I love the ones that did make it. Luckily she sent a bunch, so I still have lots for the gift bags.

She has done it again. I (and my family) has been spoiled with a super amazing package from ToubleT.

First off she sent a gift for my mom. It will set under her sewing machine and has two pockets (one being a thread catcher). Mom is going to love it. The fabric is great. Even my boyfriend mentioned it. And I was so impressed with the quality and planning. There is even cupboard lining underneath so it can't slide. That alone would be a great swap package but she didn't stop there  Wink She also send a matching pin cushion! Plus 8 bookmarks. I love it all.

Thank you ToubleT!!!

I've receieve 2 super packages. 1 from Miss Barbara and 1 from TroubleT.

Miss Barbara claimed me for washcloths. She sent 6! All different colors and designs. They are perfect.

TroubleT claimed me for a shirt and some wrist rests for the computer. She sent much more than that!

She sent a shirt for my dad (he is going to go crazy), 8 of the cutest owl ornaments (yes 8!), 2 keyboard wrist rests (I'll have to leave them on my list, as my bf took the one for my dad  Cheesy ) and the perfect covered note book for my mom. The fabric couldn't be more perfect for my mom.

Thank you ladies so very much!!!!

Crafts

Knit Socks - custom - 2 pts
I can do regular socks, and thick house socks for wearing around the house (probably could also be used as winter boot socks).  Let me know what shoe size when you claim (please specify if it is a mens or womens size). I have a number of colors, in various fibers. Feel free to pm me if you want to know if I have a certain fiber/color.

I couldn't get a great pic, but basically.... they look like socks  Wink Here is a pic of a mens' medium house (wool blend).

This set is a womens medium house socks made of a soft acrylic yarn

Basketweave Crochet Scarf - this one - 2 points

Soft Acrylic Yarn

Reversible Hat - this one - 2 pts

Wool/acrylic Blend

Baby Pinafore - This one - 2 pt each
Pattern says for 0-3 months, but I think it will fit much larger. These are open in the back so you don't need to go over baby's head. There is a button in the back.
Baby Pink:

Hand carved Stamps - Custom - 1 point each for most stamps
2 points for large or complicated stamps.

Let me know if you want them mounted or not (no charge for wood mounting). If it you want something else carved, just PM me.

A stamp like the gryffindor one would be 2 points

FireFlower - custom - 1 point

About 8-9" tall

Big Goomba - custom - 2 point

I think it works ups to be about 8-9" tall

Small Goomba - custom - 1 point

Bob-omb - custom - 1 point

I can't remember how tall this one is. I think about 4-5 inches.

Baby Octopus - This one or Custom - .5 pt

These are pretty small, so they would probably make good stalking suffers. I can make as many as you need in whatever color(s) you want.

Lip Gloss Cozy - One of these or Custom - .25 pt or 5 for 1 pt

Includes lip gloss. If you want a different color or button, jut let me know.

Adult Lip Gloss Cozy - Custom - .25 pt

Because you never know when you need.... lip gloss.

Resin Pendants - .5 pt per set .5 pt for both sets
This was an early attempt at resin, so some came out better than others. Some came out good while some have tiny imperfections. Since they aren't all perfect, I'm letting them go cheap.
Set A:

Set B:

Octopus - This one - 1 pt

Imperfect Skinny Scarf - This one - .5 pt

I noticed that a part of the shells do not match up on the other size. If you want a 'perfect' one, I can make one in this color (or any other) for one point... see below.

Skinny Scarf - Custom - 1 pt

I can do this color or one of your choosing.
