1  Re: Post Secret Round 13 Gallery (Sent out August 18, 2010) in The Swap Gallery by neeliarose on: August 19, 2010 03:03:20 PM
Got my first one day before yesterday!

It says: Three years in, I've finally realized that this is not what I want to do with the rest of my life. I want to be a librarian.

I got my coupon organizer from rlynn + a necklace! I love them both & put the necklace on as soon as I got it. Thank you x 1000!

(the picture doesn't do it justice, but all I have is my phone. It's gorgeous!)

3  Flower Pincushion Wristlet! - link to Tutorial in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by neeliarose on: July 21, 2010 01:58:44 AM
I was bored tonight and feeling crafty! Whipped up this simple, cut pincushion in about 5 minutes and actually remembered to take pictures along the way! Probably not good for heavy use, but I don't usually need more than about 10 pins on my wrist anyway  Wink

I posted the tutorial on my blog: http://www.neeliarose.com/2010/07/21/flower-wristlet-pincushion-tutorial/

I think I'm going to whip up some headbands in the same fashion for my shop, too Smiley And of course for my sister to steal... like she always does

Set of 15 (I think there are 12 or 13 left) watercolor post cards. They're blank on the front and made of the thick paper that is usually used for watercolor.

Nice velvet necklace box.

Two grey velvet ring boxes.

Unopened pack of 10 foam sheets. Multi-color.

Unused Rose glass etching stencils. The kind you rub onto the glass.

Tinkerbell & Winnie the Pooh coloring sheets. I believe there are about 40 of them, give or take a few. It's probably 5-8 different pictures and a few duplicates of each.

Small pile of random promo cards & post cards.

Star cut outs. About 4-5" across. Glossy yellow front & matte white on back. Thick cardstock. I believe there's about 13 of them.

Daffodil paper. About 40 sheets left.

5  Old Spools + Piece of Wood = Monitor Shelf = More Desk Space for Crafting! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by neeliarose on: November 17, 2009 05:36:27 PM
Basically I have one desk for crafting and as my "office". So I needed more space on my desk and wanted my boyfriend to make me a shelf to put my monitor on so when I'm crafting, I can slide my keyboard under it and give me a lot more space! Well.. we had some left over wood and somehow he ended up breaking one of the side pieces so we were left to figure something else out. I was browsing the recycle idea thread and searched for "spool" since I had a few and someone had mentioned using it as legs for a chest or something. *Lightbulb On* and some E6000 glue and now I have my shelf! I'm sure he'll be expecting to have to figure something out when he gets home a few minutes. Lucky him I did it and he's free of that project!

I'll probably paint it all white later, but for now it works!

6  Re: Clean-Along Its time for a major cleanup and redo- Post Your Own Pics in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by neeliarose on: November 11, 2009 01:41:41 AM
Ugh. I didn't even realize how bad my room was until I looked at these pictures! It's my bedroom, but it also doubles as an office and will now also have to be a craft room. I share it with my boyfriend and we currently live with my parents. The poor guy gets 2 drawers, a night stand and about 1/3 of my closet space. I don't know how he puts up with me! My room is tiny (thank you new construction housing for making my parents closet about the size of my entire bedroom) and I need to get it organized. I have virtually no budget at this time, so it may take a while to get everything the way I want it. In general, I just have too much stuff. And this is after getting rid of probably 30% of my stuff over the past 2 years.

Right now my "craft room" is my parents formal dining room. I'm sure they love me using their dining table, which is worth more than my car, as a craft table. They've actually been pretty tolerant considering it looks like a tornado blew through there most of the time, but it's time for me to stop taking advantage of that and give them their clean house back. So... my room will now be a bedroom/office/craft room.

I'll get picture of my current craft room mess tomorrow when it's daylight.
