As part of my eBay addiction, I've been collecting just about all the copper pots and pans and neat little odds and ends that I can snatch up. Then I started discovering all these really cool vintage teapots and the like, and thought, "Hey, those would make cool lamps!" So I've been working to turn some of all these neat looking things just lying around into really cool boudoir lamps! Here's some of the results:

As a newbie to craftster, I can't post photos, but my daughter made this great cobbler for me. We used blackberries, since we live in Oregon and you can't go 10 feet without running into a whole mess of them, but you could use any fruit or berry you like. You can also swap the Splenda for an equal amount of sugar.

Blackberries to fill pan
Corn starch
Splenda
Flour
Butter
Pecans

Toss berries with a little corn starch and Splenda and pile into baking pan. In separate bowl, mix 1/3 C butter, 1/3 C Splenda, and 1 C flour. Use hands to combine until the consistency of sand, sort of. Mix in about 1/2 C chopped pecans. Put streusel topping over blackberries, and bake at 350 for about an hour. The streusel topping won't brown very much, so look closely. It'll be just barely golden, and the blackberry juices will have started to bubble and thicken. Let cool for a bit before eating. Enjoy!
