I'm pretty much all planned and shopped out, and I'm working on one of my large items right now. Grin

Starting over again today.... Got some shopping done. Glad I kinda waited to do this. Now back to the drawing board. Gotta get my Halloween crafting mojo back. Undecided
I'm really sorry about that Sad If I had the time and money I'd have joined in to fix it, but I honestly can't commit to this swap as anything more than organizer and it wouldn't have been fair to halblingefrau if I partnered with her and then couldn't keep up with my end of the swap. I feel badly for having to suddenly break up the round robin like that.
No need to be sorry. Smiley I'm glad that everyone gets a partner. I just have a weird thing with my idea process... I pretty much obsess about a swap once I sign up, then I read the questionnaire like 10 times in one day, mostly cause i'm so excited that I forget half of what I've read. Then when I have ideas I stalk for like 24 hours and build a folder on my desktop (No kidding here, I am this strange.) to add pictures of what I would like to make and what my partner has on wist/pinned/wishlist. Then I make a couple dozen lists for supplies, check my stash, check again since I am horribly disorganized. I think I just had a big brain fart this time and when we sorta switched I had a "DUH" moment. Back on track now! Grin

Wow. That is EXACTLY what I do, too.

I've started vigorous planning as well, with numbered lists and bookmarked links!

I'M SO EXCITED Grin Grin Grin

Yeah, these amazing backpacks are just exactly the kind I'm looking for! I'm gonna keep checking, hoping and praying for a tutorial or a pattern!  Kiss Kiss Kiss
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Another Whedonverse Swap gallery on: January 11, 2011 09:19:44 PM
I had a lot of fun making everything! It was designing the patterns that took the most time; the rest was cake. Grin

It is just supposed to be a scary bunny, or a prototype of one.
7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Christmas Stocking Swap Round 6!!!! on: December 20, 2010 08:45:20 PM
I received this morning from thenorm02, and after sorting through the 257 pictures that I took of my FANTASTIC package, I am posting! (I cut down as much as I could, but there are still an even baker's dozen of pictures in here. Consider yourself forewarned.)

First, my absolutely amazing stocking! I like a lot of random things, and Norma did so well in capturing some of my loves! Dumbledore, Frankenfurter, rainbows, St. Patrick's Day, sparkles, Santa and skulls! Grin

I love it so much! Not pictured, skiing frog fabric lining! TOTALLY AWESOME! Next, in no particular order, are my stuffers. I ripped into the presents so fast that I couldn't tell you which I opened first or last!

Norma made me "Meg's Personal Puzzle" with a bunch of my favorite things! It was a little bit of a challenge to put it together, because none of the pictures went past the single piece, but I eventually got it all together! My favorite piece might be...no, I can't pick one favorite! Cheesy

ZOMBIE BEAR!!!! Right off my Wist; he is just TOTALLY AWESOME! He is so soft and cuddly, but his arm and guts come out! I absolutely love his puffy snout, and the big scar down his back!

Next, to keep my head warm in this brisk Midwestern winter, is a FRANKENSTEIN HAT! Tongue It's a little snug, but there is no way that I'm going to let anyone but me wear it!

Inspired by a button from my Wist, a "Spock is Sexy" Tee! Because, let's face it...he IS! (Leonard Nimoy more than Zachary Quinto. Kiss)

Combining my love of Christmas and Halloween, my partner made me...A ZOMBIE SANTA! I love every detail of it so much! She even painted the embroidery hoop to match with red glitter!

Okay, I think that I lied. I do in fact remember what the first thing I opened was because I was expecting it. I asked Norma for a Snuggie, because I can't craft when I'm huddled under my comforter. So, FIRST...I opened my Snuggie. I saw green, and was like "Yay! Green! I love green!" But then, I opened it up and saw...

Like I already told my partner: I'm gonna make sure that I turn the air conditioning on freezing in the summer so that I can use it all year round! Sorry no action shot at the moment, but it is HUGE! Grin

My partner also sent me a gigantic stack of cotton fabric, because I've been trying my best to build up my stash! Grin

She also sent me so many storebought items that I was just overwhelmed! I asked for a lint brush, and was granted one, along with a whole lot of sweeties and little erasers! I also got a tiny little Santa cross-stitch pattern, and some lotion! Finally, on my wish list, I put the color numbers of every color of floss that I needed for a pattern that I have been wanting to do for a while, and thenorm02 bought me not only EVERY SINGLE ONE, but fabric too! Shocked

I had a fantastic time in this swap, and there is so much that I will treasure forever! Thank you so much Norma! Kiss Kiss Kiss

Okay, forget my promise to myself that I wouldn't sign up for anymore swaps! I would HAVE to be in this one!!! I've seen all three of their shows multiple times, and I LOVE THEM!!! Let me know when this starts!

I actually live 3 hours away from Chicago, but I have to convince my mom to let me drive up there in February. Cross your fingers!

Do you still need another angel? If so, I can start next week from 12/15 to 1/5 over Christmas. Let me know... Wink
