1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Kokeshi Amigurumi on: March 27, 2012 01:50:29 PM
So I'm making this kokeshi doll: http://biguhandmade2.blogspot.com/2009/10/kokeshi-amigurumi.html
And I have trouble with the change from the head to the body. I tried it and the result was a very thin tube in the beginning. And it only got a bit bigger after a long time.
Maybe I'm doing the colour change wrong?

Anybody some tips or help!?
2  EUROPE / NETHERLANDS / Rotterdam on: March 22, 2012 01:13:39 AM
I'm going to Rotterdam in two weeks.
It's just for a couple of days and most of the time we will be visiting museums but I hope to find some time to go shopping.
Any craft stores or non-mainstream shops I really have to visit?
Also tips on great bars/restaurants are very welcome Smiley

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Pattern help needed on: February 22, 2011 11:26:02 AM
So I started to learn to crochet a week ago.
I have the 'super super super cute crochet' book (the Dutch translation). I crocheted the bunny (it looked like a mutation of a bunny and a tortoise) but I'm happy with it.

Now I started with a walrus: the body came out fine. But I have a problem with the tail. (it is more or less shaped like a heart)

It says : *3ch, 5dc in the first chain, 3ch, 1SC in the first chain; repeat from *

I did this (or what I thought I should do) but it failed, multiple times.
So please, can you help me!

Thanks!!!

P.S. Maybe the editor made a mistake in translating or putting the place of the *?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Burda Easy Fashion 2009 on: March 20, 2010 05:43:28 AM
Hi everybody,

The sun is shining again and i wanted to start sewing a dress from the Burda easy fashion magazine 2009.
Luckily I found the patterns but I cant find the magazine anymore. So I dont have the instructions.
Does someone of you have them? Could you mail them to me? Or does somebody know where I can find them on the website?

Thanx!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Cable Knitting Projects on: February 08, 2010 12:47:58 AM
Hi!
I know I could google this but I love to hear your opinions.
I'm knitting for 1.5 years and think that I finally have the skills for cable knitting.
Does some of you know some simple and clear explained pattern?
Or what was your first cable knitting project and did it turned out OK?

Thanks for reading this!
