1  Baby Fish Costume in Halloween Costumes by Roxsun40 on: November 01, 2010 09:49:45 PM
This is my little boys first Halloween, and since he is only a month old I really couldn't find a costume I liked for him that fit so I made this one for him. He is a little fish and my husband dressed up like a fisherman!

I took a onesie and sewed on the fish scales and then added some scrap fabric around his sleeves for his fins.  The fish head hat was a last minute thing. But I think it turned out ok. I took a hat that was laying around and covered it with fabric and put some felt eyes and a mouth on there.

He was trying to swim I think! He loved trying to eat his fins.. lol

Oh yeah.. these blocks are for my friend who is having a little girl in Nov. I hope she likes these!!

This bunny on here drove me crazy!! I took me forever to figure out how to fill her face and body up with thread.. ugh.. but I finally figured something out..

I think the cupcake is my fav. so far!  Cheesy

Let me know what ya'll think! Thanks!!

4  Reversible Apron in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Roxsun40 on: January 02, 2010 11:57:02 AM
I made this apron without a pattern, but I am pleased how it turned out. It is reversible and has nice ribbon as the straps.

Thanks for looking!

5  Sewing thread holder in Completed Projects by Roxsun40 on: January 01, 2010 05:44:41 PM
I was in need of a place to put my sewing thread and I had some extra wood, so I decided to make this!  I am really happy how it turned out. I was a little worried that the thread would not fit right, but I guess my math was right after all!!  Cheesy

6  Gold Journal in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Roxsun40 on: December 29, 2009 07:59:20 PM

This is my first time posting one of my projects, so feedback would be appreciated.

I made this gold journal for my Nannies b-day, hope she loves it!

The paper on the inside is computer paper and has a ink pen stamp on every page. I made the stamp out of a potato. (making a potato stamp was just as fun and making the journal) I then took a old crayon and made a ink mark coming out of the ink pen. The hard part of the cover is made from cardboard I found. I covered the journal with some material I found a scrap store and then put a gold metal object on the front I found at the scrap store to.

I had a fun time making this journal and I am already planning on making more!!

Thanks for looking!
