1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Fred and George Weasley on: October 15, 2012 06:55:10 PM
So I just finished a Back to Hogwarts swap and wanted to share what I made (these items in particular)

Introducing Fred and George!

They took a generous amount of time, about 12 hours, I think.

They are completely hand sewn and their hair put in by hand as well.

Here is an in progress shot(AHHH THE ARMLESS TWIN!!)

And another.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Weasley is Our King on: August 06, 2011 02:25:35 PM
I made this quite a while ago for my partner in the DH part 2 Swap.

I got the pattern for the crown on Ravelry. It's originally supposed to be a key chain but when I saw it I knew I had to turn it into the "Weasley is Our King" badge. So I added some embroidery. I think it was at most 2 and a half inches wide. Next time I think I'd like to do it in Gryffindor colors instead. Thanks for looking!
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Adventure Time with Finn and Jake Swap? on: July 22, 2011 05:18:06 PM

Lately I've been really into Adventure Time and have been itching to craft everything I can from that show. And what better way to get the crafty itch out of one's system than to craft for someone else? Just wanted to throw the idea out there in case anyone else would be interested.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Mini Ron Weasley :D on: July 08, 2011 01:54:53 PM
Hi everyone, I was part of the DH Part 2 swap and for my partner I made a Ron Weasley Plush. Last DH Swap I had made Luna Lovegood and Thestral plushies for my partner http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=364471.msg4279973#msg4279973.
I present to you Miniature Ron Weasley.

Like the other plushies he's completely hand stitched.
I changed up the pattern for the head on this one. I think it suites him much better than the oval one.

A picture of him in progress...

And here he is just chillin' with a pygmy puff.

He was a hard one to give away. But I'll probably make another.
Thanks for looking!
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Tiny Coraline and SUPER tiney SQUIDDY on: May 13, 2011 09:32:19 PM
I just wanted to share what I made for the One Tiny Stuffie swap that just happened.

I present to you Coraline and Mr. Squiddy.

She is about five inches tall and her squid is about two inches. She is completely hand sewn.

And here is one more of her wearing the seeing stone I made out of clay for her.

Thanks for looking :]
6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Loony Luna Lovegood and My Little Thestral (pic heavy) on: November 10, 2010 11:57:37 PM
So I made these for my partner in the Deathly Hallows swap. These are my first plushies and Im really super proud of them!

I hand painted their eyes to match the description in the book and I sewed and embroidered them both by hand.

The thestral was definitely inspired by My Little Pony, in case you couldn't tell.

Close up of Luna's head.

And a close up of her body.

I tried really hard to capture that spaced out look

I plan on making all of my favorite characters some time soon.
Thanks for looking!

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Molly Weasley Part Deuce on: November 10, 2010 11:32:33 PM
Should I give this a mature warning thing? Because they say the B-Word all the time on T.V. and even in HP books...
Anyway here is another Molly Weasley is a bad ass stitch. Part one is here ( basically the same thing just more explanation) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=356561.msg4175599#msg4175599

This time the lettering is in cross stitch rather than embroidery.

I think it came out much more neater this time round.
Oh and don't mind the nosey posey in the picture.
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Up the Folk Punks ! on: August 29, 2010 08:39:57 PM
This is my first completed cross stitch ( I'm actually working on a rather larger piece as well but needed a break). It is my homage to one of my most favorite genres of music, folk punk. It's not anything fancy but I like it's simplicity and discovered that letters are way fun to cross stitch.

If you've never heard of the genre before I highly suggest you check it out. It's changed my life.
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Dementor Attack Kit on: August 13, 2010 08:31:43 PM
I wasn't sure where to post this but I figured you could hang it up on your wall so why not here.
Anyway this is a Dementor Attack Kit I made for the HP craft swap I was just in.

As you can see I am not a master photographer, there was a lot of glare.

Anyway the kit contains
one emergency wand, a Honeyduke's tin for emergency chocolate, and a notebook to keep your happiest memories in to help create your patronus. (My partner's patronus was a rabbit...and that's why there's a rabbit on it lol).

Here is a pic of the notebook I painted.

And here is the wand

Thanks for looking Cheesy
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / HP wand from paper and glue! with link to tutorial on: August 13, 2010 08:24:09 PM
So Im going post crazy right now as I just finished up an HP swap and want to share all the stuff I worked hard on.

I made this wand using this tutorial I found http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-an-awesome-Harry-Potter-wand-from-a-sheet-of-/

It was really easy and fun to make and I plan on making more
