Hello to all:
This is my first time on this forum. My DD & I were looking around the web this week-end & came across this. I'm a beginner quilter & have been quilting for about 2 years now, but have only made a few lap quilts & very easy ones at that. Looking forward to beginning my first quilt with my own colors instead of something I've seen in a store or magazine.
Have any of you seen this site? http://www.workingdogquilts.2y.net/
They are trying to get enough quilt blocks by Feb. 1 to make a quilt to raffle off to help with the Service Dogs organization. What a good way to practice on a block & help a good organization at the same time. I did a practice paper piecing of a really cute dog last night & sent it to them today. It was the first time I had done any paper piecing & it really turned out cute & was fun to make.
Look forward to learning from all of ya'll
Wannabee
