I just completed a new mini collection with holiday parties in mind. I'm really feeling the paillettes right now. They feel modern but nostalgic, which is kind of my mood lately. What do you think?

The texture comes from the art paper. It's a high end paper used as art material and as a supply in the floral industry.

They're sealed with a clear, matte acrylic sealer. They're water-resistant, but I recommend gentle care. I've worn my prototype tons, and it's very resilient. I wouldn't recommend putting them on outerwear in extreme climates for daily use, however (heavy rain, wind, snow, etc.).

I recently picked up jewelry again after focusing for quite a while on amigurumi. Here are the pins I recently made by layering art paper petals and sealing them. What do you think? (click thumbnail for bigger pic).

Cool! I like the foam one; seems like a good use for foam, which otherwise is kind of hideous, lol. I didn't realize you could sew it.
