1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help with XL tshirt with a problem graphic on: May 11, 2010 11:39:35 AM
Hey everyone! Havent posted in a while, and I'm a little stuck on something. I love reconning tshirts, whether its just taking them in to fit better or making a tshirt dress, anything. I have one problem with this current shirt though. My fiance gave it to me so I dont wanna just leave it in a drawer or something, but the graphic is giving me a huge problem. Instead of being in the middle of the shirt, where I can then sew up the sides to take it in, the graphic is on the right side :|  Take a gander at my poorly drawn graphic:

The image isnt cut off or anything, its just all the way to the right side on the bottom. I cant just take in ONE side :s   Any ideas? I was thinking if all else fails I could just keep it as a sleep shirt Sad Thanks in advance.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My first attempt at cross stitch: Mario and Peach on: February 15, 2010 12:16:06 PM
Hey! Its been a while since I've posted anything, but heres my first ever shot at cross stitch. I saw this pattern a while ago and thought itd be a nice Valentines gift for my fiance so I gave it a shot. I underestimated how long it would take D:    Finally finished it in 2-3 weeks, and then couldnt find a frame to fit it :|  I ended up buying a frame that was quite a bit bigger and just putting in some red fabric as a background. I think it turned out ok for my first shot but I'm not terribly happy with it. CC welcomed as always Smiley And thanks for looking!

* Featured on http://www.geekcrafts.com!!! View post here: http://geekcrafts.com/half-life-quilt/. Thanks again so much for posting it!

So this took a looooong time! This is the very first quilt I've made, never attempted anything like it before. Cutting the squares was definetly the most time consuming part. I made this for my fiance, hes a huge HL fan. Figured it'd go good with the headcrab I made him lolol.http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=330602.0

Its 57"x57"
this is the front of it

and i used camo fleece on the back so it was extra cuddly!

Will update this tomorrow night when i put the two pieces together. I'm also adding an orange border arounnd the whole thing  Shocked

****Edit

(i had no idea where to post this lol)

Just finished this a few minutes ago. In a few days I'll be giving it to my bf. Took probably a little over 2 hours. Probably wouldve been less time but I kept getting the "what is it!?!? tell me!!" texts from the boy Tongue

Only have one pic because with all his texts + my aching back i just wanted to lay down and relax after this!  Embarrassed lol

Well..this took me just about a month to finish, working almost every night for a bit. Didnt use a pattern, and it was a lot of trial and error..and annoyance lol  Undecided. Giving this to the bf for christmas since its his favorite game  Smiley

heres what one looks like

all felt and fabric paint...and bedsheets for the floor that my mother wasnt too thrilled about D:   Embarrassed  let me know what you think!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 giant shirt into...not so giant dress thing on: November 17, 2009 12:08:37 PM
So my bf worked at gamestop, which meant occasionally he could get me promo things. he got me this call of duty MW2 shirt, which I LOVED but could literally fit 3 of me in  Embarrassed  it sat around for a while and then all of the hype for the release of the game inspired me to get off mah buttz and fix it!  i dont have a before pic, but picture a very long large or XL mens boxy tshirt, with giant sleeves lol turned into this:

Id like to take this time now to thank my camera for being garbage  Angry   i know its hard to see but this was literally the best pic i got out of my camera. just has the Call of duty MW2 logo on the front, and some promo writing for gamestop on the back. thanks for looking everyone and sorry about the strain my camera has set upon your eyes :[
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / bob-omb! i cant stop making these now. on: November 10, 2009 05:57:00 PM
So in keeping with my "making nintendo plushies is better than doing anything else" theme, I made a bob-omb! same basic pattern as the kirby i posted yesterday body-wise and then added the right features.

i dont like that he came out so egg-shaped in this pic Sad

so i squashed him til he was the right shape!

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Kirby plushie! on: November 09, 2009 05:08:59 PM
I seem to be on a plushie-making kick lately lol. So, heres Kirby! Took a couple hours to make because I kept texting and doing those "ok I'll start again in 10 minutes" breaks, that seem to last way longer lol :x  he stands 8-9 inches tall just about:

9  COOKING / Dessert / ULTIMATE WARRIOR COOKIES on: November 02, 2009 09:43:00 PM
So i have no idea why i did this at midnight lmao but all things considered like not having any decorating things and being kinda loopy, i made ultimate warrior cookies for all the wrestling fans out there.

ridiculous lmao
