2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help with XL tshirt with a problem graphic on: May 11, 2010 11:39:35 AM
Hey everyone! Havent posted in a while, and I'm a little stuck on something. I love reconning tshirts, whether its just taking them in to fit better or making a tshirt dress, anything. I have one problem with this current shirt though. My fiance gave it to me so I dont wanna just leave it in a drawer or something, but the graphic is giving me a huge problem. Instead of being in the middle of the shirt, where I can then sew up the sides to take it in, the graphic is on the right side :|  Take a gander at my poorly drawn graphic:

The image isnt cut off or anything, its just all the way to the right side on the bottom. I cant just take in ONE side :s   Any ideas? I was thinking if all else fails I could just keep it as a sleep shirt Sad Thanks in advance.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: My first attempt at cross stitch: Mario and Peach on: February 16, 2010 01:08:36 PM
Thanks everyone! I think next time I make something I'm just going to build my own frame lol. Working on something for that long and not being able to find a suitable frame was kind of a letdown =\   Meh, I already have lots of other things planned though that I cant wait to start Cheesy
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My first attempt at cross stitch: Mario and Peach on: February 15, 2010 12:16:06 PM
Hey! Its been a while since I've posted anything, but heres my first ever shot at cross stitch. I saw this pattern a while ago and thought itd be a nice Valentines gift for my fiance so I gave it a shot. I underestimated how long it would take D:    Finally finished it in 2-3 weeks, and then couldnt find a frame to fit it :|  I ended up buying a frame that was quite a bit bigger and just putting in some red fabric as a background. I think it turned out ok for my first shot but I'm not terribly happy with it. CC welcomed as always Smiley And thanks for looking!
5  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Puppy dog treats! on: February 01, 2010 11:41:54 PM
This looks great and I might try it but just a heads up, garlic is toxic for dogs.  I definitely wouldn't use garlic salt.

I've heard this several times too, both just hear-say and from the vet. Found out my dog had a food allergy because he kept scratching, so we took him to the vet and he had asked if we gave him some of our "people" food during dinner and such, and when I said yes the vet said dogs can have food allergies and garlic is really bad for them. I'd like to make my dog some home made treats but ive heard so many things about certain ingredients that im kinda nervous to.

thanks everyone!! Smiley

Yojetak, Its just orange. My camera is older than anything and my monitor is old too so the colors are all dark so I didnt know how much to adjust the colors and just left it as is. When I finish up I'll take more pics and use my laptop instead of the PC so I can see if the colors showed up the right way.  As far as pattern, I googled "half life logo pixels" (lol) and it found me a cross stitching pattern http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/1677/halflifelambdapo9.png  from user nintandrew on SpriteStitch. I just used that with fabric squares instead of cross stitching.
