That is stunning. I would plunk down some serious money for that lamp.

Some of my best pieces of furniture and decor are dumpster finds and I am always excited when someone else takes a piece of nastty disgusting trash and turns it into something that could be photographed for a magazine. Smiley

These would make great ceramic tiles or prints. If I saw them in tile form and for sale, I would plunk down some money with no hesitation.  The details/colors are great and I love that the witches just look so content.

These are fabulous. I love the stack of towels, but I think my favorite may be the feet.

I am going to echo the remark on spot coloring the skin in the tub one. I love it, but I think that would enhance it quite a bit.

Well now, that is just adorable. I love the centerpieces also.
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Stocking Stuffers For Guys on: September 29, 2009 09:19:39 PM
I thought of a few crafty things:

You can make bath products for men too. Just use pine or eucalyptus scents. You can also find any number of shaving soap recipes online that are wonderful when presented in a mug with a brush and a fresh razor.

Handmade boxers would fit into a stocking if you rolled them up and the fabric could be personalized to the recipient.

Mix CDs

A pocket to hang over a couch or chair to hold the remote

If you knit or crochet-caps, scarves, beer (or soda) cozies

a keyring or good luck charm for rear-view mirror

personalized flip calendar

bookmarks

Or simple purchases:

pocket knives

puzzle books/brain teasers

gloves

travel mug or small thermos stuffed with single packs of coffee/tea/cocoa

playing cards (can be personalized)

unique pens

Men ARE more difficult to stuff a stocking for!

and sometimes if you want the more gorey effect you can add in coffee grinds to make it look more dirty and gruesome!
You can use cocoa powder too, it will help thicken it a bit and it smells delicious.

That is an amazingly gory and wonderful bit of gruesomeness you created. Love it!
