You can download Wilcom truesizer.  It is free.  It will resize as well as change formats of embroidery designs
That is what I started off using.  It works quite nicely.

Thank you both for replying Smiley
I would love to design my own, but have no idea where to start. I haven't been sewing for long, but find a lot of the web sites designs boring.

Wow I love the http://esqueembroidery.com/index.htm web site. They are amazing Cheesy
I've noticed they are only in ART & PES. I will have to see if they can change it over to JEF, as I have the Janome 200e.
I love all the designs on there. I would love to try & do my own, but I know I wouldn't be as good as they are lol
Thank you both again.

6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sewing machine for horse headcollars & rugs? on: July 15, 2010 06:02:48 PM
You'll want an industrial machine for work that heavy - something that's specifically for upholstery would be perfect. They're not cheap, but you can sometimes find them on craigslist for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Thank you lady, I have found one for sale on the net & it is a Protex 1130B.
I have looked on the net but I cannot find much out about it. They are all over in China & they don't have a price list Sad
Just wondered if anyone as heard of this machine & if so, what are they like.
7  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Sewing machine for horse headcollars & rugs? on: July 07, 2010 09:07:33 AM
I have been thinking of making my own headcollars & rugs for the horses, but don't know where to start. I would also like to start to sell them if I do go ahead with the idea.
Can anyone please tell me the best machine to look at for this kind of thing.
Many thanks in advance.

9  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Hand sew a flower stem onto material. on: June 14, 2010 08:47:42 AM
I bet you all think I am daft lol
I have been trying to sew a nice stem onto fabric & then finish it off with a flower out of ribbon. The problem is..... Each time I tried it, the stem looked horrible. I want it to flow & look natural.
Any tips at all pleaseee.
