One of four Roman coin replicas was incorporated into it. They came from National Geographic, and I have had them since I was little. I find ancient civilizations fascinating.

Garnet is one of my favorite stones. It's also my birthstone, and I wanted to make myself a piece of jewelry with it since I have nearly none.

The clasp is made from one length of silver wire twisted and turned onto itself.
