I used the $1.00 clear glue from the Dollar Tree household aisle---it's almost a cement caulk type or like an epoxy. It's kind of awesome for $1.00. I don't have any of the pieces or stand with me. I wish I did take better pictures. The next time I'll be better prepared!
the pieces from Dollar tree. I glued the candle stick to the dish for the base and the glass star marble to the bowl for the lid. It's adorable with the flickering tea lite. The total cost for one is $5. Two would only cost $7. Perfect at each place setting for a little tea party or birthday. Petit Fours not included.
