desc: The sister of the friend of a friend wanted a mei tai the same as I did for said friend. She made the request about 2 months ago.... I sat yesterday at my sewing machine and made it.

I'm not done on anything... I manage to make a doll for my cousin's daughter but it doesn't fit any of the challenge... BUT! I did finish the top of Mariann's quilt and took pictures of the OWLs I've drawn so far...

So here's my advanced studies of Friday a day soon.

I plan on maybe frame them to hang in my kids' room when they are done.

NEWT WIP:

I still need to go out and buy the back fabric for it, and I still want to quilt it so it looks like a tree My daughter loves it already, and I can't wait to start on my son's... IF I have the time to start it before the baby arrives.... At least his bday is August 2nd! My daughter's July 7th, so I hope it'll be ready by then.

I'm spending the week at my mom's, which has a little bit of craft supplies, but not much. I did however bring my OWL supplies so it's pretty likely it'll be what I will work on this week.

So sorry for being quite low profile last week, I'm SO drained by the growing baby in my belly, and the two older babies that need their moms still!

Yes, the maypole is holding strong... I carefully pack it after each Beltane, so it's not laying around.

The purple turquoise is beautiful. I'd so knit a sweater for my daughter with it (and she'd love it so much, because there's purple!)
