Oops! I completely forgot, but a few days ago Goldfish asked me to add another picture of the peacock that shows to colors better.

And here's one of the back..

Here are some pictures of the lovely package I recieved from goldfishpollywog. I absolutely adore everything! And I must say, I think Abercrombie has found their newest male model...

Yeti! I love his little scarf.

I quite the photoshoot with him. What a pleasure to work with.  Cheesy

Here he is with his jackalope friend.

His squirrely sleeping bag.. if only I had a bigger one for myself.  Smiley

It's reversable!

Here they are sluggled up inside it.

A picture of everything Goldfish sent.

The bought items are Texas playing cards and a mini journal/notepad.

The beast in his natural habitat.

And one more family shot.  Tongue

Sorry I posted so many pictures. I just love him to pieces and wanted to show off his greatness! Thanks again Goldfish! This was a wonderful swap. <3

13  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery, 2010 in The Swap Gallery by applesandpumpkins on: October 22, 2010 02:39:55 PM
Hanshotfirst and I were partners in Yarnies vs Sewists rnd 2 and decided to do another swap together(like she said earlier in the thread). She made me so many beautiful things!

First, I got this awesome bag from my wists. I love it and have used it a lot already.

I also got these really cute accesories.

Here's an action shot.

This tea wallet is great. I've seen them around before and always thought they were really cool. I love tea!

I also got this adorable cupcake apron. I can't wait to bake in it. The picture doesn't quite do it justice. It's so pretty and well made. (Please excuse my messy room, and the bad mirror picture.)

And a matching potholder! Cheesy

And last, but not least, this amazing skirt! I really love it. The fabrics are adorable. I didn't get an action shot, unfortunately, but it fits like a glove.

Thanks again! I'm in love with everything!

14  Re: Yarnies Vs Sewists R2 Gallery Sendouts Changed to September 3 in The Swap Gallery by applesandpumpkins on: September 08, 2010 06:10:54 PM
Everyone prepare to be blown away, because my package is amazing! My partner put so much thought and detail into everything and I couldn't be happier. Here are the pictures!

I asked for a sock monkey in my questionairre, and she made me something even better! You should have seen the look on my face when I pulled this out of the box. Sock kitty!!

I also got this absolutely adorable felt monster. I love all of the details (like the mushroom fabric in the ears, the cute buttons, the bow, just everything about it).

And a crochet hook holder! I needed one of these so badly, I'm always losing my hooks.  Grin I love the deer and mushroom on the front! Sooo cute.

Here's a photo of the inside. I can't get over the fabric! It has a bunch of my favorite things on it.  Owls, bunnies, foxes, deer, mushrooms, and acorns. I have a thing for woodland creatures. I wanted to show the little notes she put in it. They're just too awesome.

Ahhh, I'm just so happy. I love my stuff. Thank you soooo much hanshotfirst! You are amazing. <3
I'd also like to thank our organizers for putting this swap together! You guys rock!

15  Men of Snow in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by applesandpumpkins on: March 31, 2010 12:23:12 PM
"Men of snow"...
Anyone heard the Ingrid Michaelson song? She's awesome.

I made these two cuties last December. I gave one away as a Christmas gift to my cousin (she loved it!) and kept the other.
I have a basic idea of what I did, but I don't remember exactly how I made the accessories. If anyone is interested in the pattern, let me know. I'll try to remember Wink

16  Amigurumi Angel (With Pattern!) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by applesandpumpkins on: August 28, 2009 01:05:15 PM
My great aunt's 80th birthday is coming up, so I decided to crochet something special for her. She collects angels, so I am sure an amigurumi one is the way to go! I looked online and couldn't find the perfect angel I pictured. That's when I decided to try and make up my own pattern (which was a scary move for me, seeing as this is my very first pattern!). I think she turned out great. Here's the pattern for anyone who would like their own angel!
(Please let me know if anything is weird or unclear. I'm new to pattern-writing. Smiley

By the way, I thought I'd add in that this is my first project I've posted on craftster. I love this place..

Assembly:
Sew arms to the sides of the body, right under the head. Stitch both arms together at the front, so it

looks like she's praying. Sew the wings onto the body right behind the arms. Cut lengths of yarn about 6

inches long and hook them onto the head like you would if you were rug hooking. Stich the halo to the

middle of the head. Hot glue (or you can sew if you wish!) a small button to the middle of each of the

small flowers. Glue one of the small flowers to the middle of the big flower. Glue the flowers onto the

angel's hair. Cut two tiny lengths of black yarn and glue them to the face, to make eyes (you can

embroider the eyes if you wish, but you will need to do this before stuffing the head). Glue various sizes

of buttons around the bottom of her dress (this step is optional, but I think it adds a nice touch).

Now you're done with your sweet little angel. Make sure you keep her somewhere where she can

always watch over you! Smiley

...Oh, and let's hope my aunts loves hers!
