Eeep! I uploaded my pics to Craftster Photo but totally forgot to put them in the gallery. Yeesh, where is my mind.
Anyhoo, I received from the lovely jmiller614. She sent a really special package, with some truely unique items. Being wary of posting glass, she sent me my whimsies in a tupperware container....little does she know, but I've been collecting them for my work lunches. Thanks jmiller!!!
Onto the goodies....a tad pic heavy
My "Jar" with a Zodiac design. jmiller really stuck close to my likes.
Whimsies!!!!!
A beautiful headband.
Some ribbon, fabric, and another headband....love the colors.
For my love of all things English
AWESOME movie themed cards. I love love loved these. I loved everything, but these really hit home. The method jmiller used was so neat, they look like aged posters.
And the ridiculously cool finale, two sets of earrings. I love the hearts, all of the red in this package was great - it's my favorite color! The second set of earrings are very unique and special - they're were test pieces from the most recent Mars Rover (jmiller, did I get that right?) SO. COOL!
thank you so much, jmiller!!! i can't wait for you to get yours!
Now my partner, EkkaGrrl, had to send a little late (as did I) and claims because of this she was a crummy partner. FARTHEST FROM THE TRUTH!!! Grrl, seriously, you were the best. Crummy doesn't come anywhere close to the words I would use to describe you. Think more along the lines of fabulous. talented. thoughtful. etc etc.
I truly loved this package. I squealed upon each unwrapping. Literally. Squeals and laughter. Shall I begin?
Ok, these first couple items are from my Wists. One makes me laugh, the other makes me smile. Together they induce happiness. It's all good.
Each of those letters are hand-cut. Yeah, I know.
I now have not one, but TWO of these hoops! And they're both different! Gotta give a shout-out to my crafty detective partner who stitched me one, too. Upon opening this my sister claimed she could now have my other one. Hahahahaha....yeah. right. Doesn't she know I have four walls? Now if I could just acquire two more.... The flowers on this are in.sane. So many different colors, I love 'em.
Two simple and sweet necklaces. Just my style, no frills, but still packing some style.
A photo taken by Ekkagrrl herself. It's lovely, I adore the look on her face. So sweet. Ekka also included a few more pics for me!
And the grand finale, SOAP! i. want. to. eat. it. Chai Tea gets me through my workday, and now it'll help wake me up. The Lemongrass is devine. So refreshing. ACK! I LOVE THEM!!!
There were also some fruit leathers. But, ahem, my cat (cough*me*cough) ate them. Immediately. I don't think they actually saw the daylight.
THANK YOU EKKAGRRRRRRRL!!!!!!! I <3 LOVED <3 EVERYTHING!

USPS says my partner recieved a couple days ago, I hope she won't mind if I post a couple pictures!
Nostephot listed one of her likes as Pride and Prejudice...so I sort of ran with that. I love the romantic idea of writing letters and that was my focus with this matchbox!
This was my first attempt at book carving...and I might have made quite a mess with it. Though after some quick fixes, in the end, it didn't turn out too shabby! Lined the bottom with some felt and painted the sides et voila! Good to go. I included all sorts of random whimsies, there's some in the matchbox too.
I didn't want to waste the matches and I couldn't think of a clever way to store and save them, so I had a go at making my own matchbox. This was the second attempt. It's a tad smaller than your average matchbox, I just couldn't seem to make my lines clean and had to keep trimming! There's a wax seal under the woman, holding the string in place.
And I packaged it all up in an old fashioned way, even with my own initial in the wax seal
I've received my last package but oho, it's a goodun!
I was really spoiled, not a bad way to say farewell to this swap!
I received this perfect tote. It sits just right on my arm and is incredibly roomy. It's going to become my new work bag, and will make lugging gym clothes a little more enticing
Now, the tote would have been amazing on it's own, but crazy4bags sent me soooo much more!!! Look at this loot!! It was like digging through an old treasure chest, I had so many ideas popping in my head with each new item. LOVE IT!!!!
Alright, at long last, here is the lovely matchbox I received!!
Nostephotcreated this really cool hexagon pattern, with all sort of different papers. I especially loved the little birds that made an appearance! It was wrapped it a wild batik fabric, but it has already been put to use! Also, there were some bay leaves, from her own garden!! They went lovely in some red sauce...yummmm.
A couple of my favorite whimsies:
Thank you nostephot!!! You're will be on it's way sooon
it is a lovely gallery, and i'm about to add to it. it's been WAY TOO LONG, because I received my package a couple weeks ago...!!
I received from Leeska. Let me tell you a little something about this lady, she's MAD! She sent me a bulging box of goodies, all wonderfully crafted and so special. I opened up my package and pulled everything out, turning it over and over, looking up close, modeling it, cuddling it....all with my mouth agape! I couldn't believe it! Leeska put together a truely wonderful package. I will treasure everything. THANK YOU LEESKA!!!
Now, onto the hefty picture load!
Everything together!
An embroidery kit, with everything I need to learn to embroider, including an instruction book!
A lil' scarf - it's so beautiful, the fabrics are lovely and the way it's stitched is very neat. The best way I can describe it is it's wavey! Maybe Leeska can supply a technical term. I've already figured out a couple ways to wear it, and it has even supplied a use for my most favorite brooch!
Not one, not two, but THREE!! necklaces! The third can also be worn as a headband! Score! I love them all, just my style - minimal with eclectic and earthy elements. love love love them. dark green feathers on a leather cord.
clay (?) beads on a thick wire. holds itself in place. score!
interwoven fabric and cord. love this color combination.
LOLz worthy hoop for me wall As a result of receiving this, I've had this song stuck in my head for weeks. Except, it's really just those two lines...i like tha way ya werk it
And of course, best for last, the cherrys....vintage union jack pillows. She made them with a worn feel, but they're so well crafted. I received this package just as I'd returned from a trip to my homeland, and was feeling very homesick. This entire package, but these pillows especially have warmed me since.Thank you again Leeska!!!!
I received a few days ago but am just not posting photos....sorry Pioneer9! You're crafts have been put to use since then though
I received a stellar package. Seriously, I keep going back to that Sylvia quilt and just looking at it! I love it. The bag is the perfect length on me, and has already served me well on a library trip.
There were two books, one on guitar chords (I'm learning) and a young adult fantasy novel "Incarceron" - I'm looking forward to reading that. I also received two beautiful bookmarks, that have been packed into luggage already. I'll show pics of those when I return from my trip and post what I sent to Pioneer9.
Thank you so much, to Psyche, Clumsy_Momma and my lovely partner....I adored this swap, crafting for it and receiving this beautiful package. I can't get over it, it's so awesome!
oh p.s. thanks to pioneer9 for creating a new book addiction - i've started the hunger games trilogy.
Wow! So many beautiful little packages. Brings that old saying to mind The best things come in....
Well, I have received my sweet little kindness. For the first round, Larissa-Rasputin crafted some nature inspire jewelry. Please forgive my backdrop, I was trying to catch them in the pretty light by my window!
I love this necklace, just my style. Very minimal and a beautiful color combination. It's not much longer than the picture shows, so it fits just right on my neck. Not too long, not too short.
Two bracelets (that can be put together to make a necklace) The green one had a sweet little butterfly charm but it has fallen off! I will do a bed sweep and see if I can find it....I'm terrible for sleeping in jewelery.
