That's totally hot. I must admit I was a little sceptical when I read babydoll dress but it rocks, and looks great on you. Well done.
22  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: scissosr vs. converse! who won?*Now with small TUTORIAL!* *NEW PICS* on: August 24, 2005 01:49:21 AM
That's an awesome idea. I love girls who can pull off canvasy flats, I see them at shows all the time. But the idea of cutting into my beloved Cons makes me want to cry! I've just got the little guys to the right stage of grimy, stepped on and righteous.
23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: skirt => shirt on: August 24, 2005 01:47:27 AM
I really love that. I love anything demi fitted/half falling off (I mean that in a good way - I think it's very sexy). Very original, very elegant. Well done!
24  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: sweet new corset from hideous old muumuu @@@@:-) on: August 24, 2005 12:52:26 AM
At the risk of sounding like an idiot..where do you find the boning material...I really want to make a corset but I have no idea where to find boning for it.

I know you can get Rigilene and other plastic boning hidden away in the haberdashery section of most sewing stores - it's usually in a box with a wicked sketch of some 1960s woman in a strapless gown on it. You might want to hit up the internet for steel or spiral boning if that's what you want, though, because i've yet to see it in any store.

Heh. That's deliciously geeky, well done.
26  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Thread cork-board - TUTORIAL NOW ADDED!! (detailed & lots of pics) on: August 22, 2005 02:34:00 AM
Brilliantly done tutorial.  Now all I need to do is get over my highly impractical (and stereotypical) fear of power tools and my threads shall be organised.

Aww, he's beautiful! I love sock monkeys but they defy me, I've never been able to make one. Mad props for being paid!

How did you do the shirring?

I think you look great in it, btw.

That's astonishing and gorgeous. They must be some spiritual chickens she's got there!
30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: double necklace on: August 20, 2005 03:02:21 AM
The time you took was worth it. It's gorgeous. Were you going to keep it, or will you sell it to those less talented?
