11  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Crafty Detective Rd. 7 (signups Jan. 31 - Feb. 14, 2011; sendouts Apr. 14, 2011) on: March 01, 2011 10:36:59 AM

Past/Present/Future Thinker?
Oh this is a revealing kinda question... I'm a mix of past and future never really the present... I am a memories girl and a hoarder, I know exactly the soundtrack to my life so far, with songs that remind me of moments in my past, I like to play the soundtrack to my life game while driving to work or out walking... updating and reshuffling in my head. I am very much about memories and wont throw out things such as the kids first outfits, my first record (yes really) my first or the kids first anything! That being said I am always planning for what I want for the future, I always have to have a goal of some kind, I became unstuck last year when I turned 30 and had done everything on my to do list that year, which was finish uni with a degree, learn to drive, get a full time qualified job and finally accept myself for who I am... (check) now my future thinking involves moving out of this horrible area, finally owning (or trying to own) my own home and being one of those settled people... bottom line.... I'm scatty but memories are precious to me...

Travel/Live Where?
I dont like to fly it makes me really afraid, (yes I'm a big sissy) but with my mum living in Italy I kind of have to when I want to visit, or the kids want to and this I can do because its my mum, but the idea of travelling isn't for me. If I could live anywhere I'd definitely (bar the flight) move to America... but I dont know which part...

When I grow up....
I wanted to be a teacher, then a vet (except for my fear of blood) then a journalist before settling for IT technician, however my headmistress informed me that this was NOT a suitable career for young lady's and refused to sign my university application form, therefore I dropped out of school and had babies instead (inspiring huh?) at 26 I got myself together and went off to Uni to be a social worker, I've just qualified and got my first real job and I love it...however I'm still not grown up so when I grow up I want to be one of those organised, cool kinda people... and I want to be an author... LOL

..What sorts of film do you enjoy? Any favorite movies? Would you enjoy crafts inspired by them?
I'm a bit eclectic with films, if i had a type it would be girly rom coms, but that being said I like sci fi, I like some horror, I like what i term boy films, I love kids films (especially despicable me I NEED A MINION lol) and I love happy endings... I realise this is not helpful... I would love crafts inspired by my fave films, but this is not a must... I'm easily pleased

P.S I say lol a lot... I just realised!!!

mmm style... okay so if I had one... it would totally be a mix of manga school girl and classic pencil skirt secretary... (thats probably not helpful) but I'm a social worker so now I dress bland ie... not offensive to any one lol...

stalkee... two hints... 1) my most favourite color is your most hated so your causing me serious color issues 2) we both have the same reading preferences!!!

cold weather items, ALWAYS, because I am one of those people that gets cold first and equally love when the cold kicks in and I have cold weather goodies in stock to choose from and rock a new winter? look Smiley

oh goodness you guys natter.. I came in at page 56!!!

To my Stalker.. sorry for my awolness I have been on annual leave this week and as is typical I have developed full on swollen glands throat infection and am feeling extremely sorry for myself!! I just know when I get up for work tmrw I am going to either feel like death and still have to go to work or feel fine which is soooo unfair lol, I always get sick when I'm on annual leave or give up smoking, since I've done both it was bound to happened!!!!!

Edible treats: I am supposedly dieting because I am sick of looking at myself in photos and hating the way I look, however I am not a good dieter... plus since I gave up smoking 3 weeks ago all I can think about is food, so I figure its easier to lose weight than give up smoking, so I can concentrate on the diet when I crack the nicotine addiction. SO I'm a chocoaholic but never white chocolate because I refuse to acknowledge it as chocolate!!! I'm also on a bit of a savoury kick at the moment...

Piercings/tattoos/hair

I have pain and blood and pain and blood issues... being I hate pain and I pass out at the sight of blood... anybodys... but especially my own. I do have my ears pierced but only the one time because when I had it done it took 2 people to do it (I was 27) and then when I stood up I promptly passed out and knocked over the display in the shop.... (embarrassed much?) No tattoos because I can imagine what would happen there and also because I'm faddy and prone to changing my mind so anything permanent wouldn't work for me... that being said I have been hennaed a few times and loved it... Hair when I was a student (like 6 months ago) I had it with pink highlights which I adored... and also red, and green (didn't love that so much) and purple... however 2 things, Its not appropriate for my job any-more Sad and I have damaged my hair beyond repair and have to give it some breathing space to recover before attacking it with a home kit again!!! (I promised my best friend hairdresser I'd wait a year... its been  2 months... so I'm frequently in the bad hair day club in which i roll up to work in plaits and a hat Smiley

sports...
NOPE definitely not a sports fan!!!

To my stalkee...

you had me completely stumped until the last set of questions you answered... and now I'm off to sketch the design that your post screamed at me... so I'm very pleased...

wow I love that your into anti- bullying campaigns .. its dear to my heart I lost a huge part of my education to bullies which is why it took me another 7 years to go back to school and get my degree, plus my daughter being an "oddity" is going through the same thing Sad there's no need to be super awkward I think its cool Smiley
