11  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: Candy Stripers - laptop bag on: May 18, 2005 06:53:03 PM
It said to cast on 20 stitches for the laptop tag and 12 for the messenger bag, for the base.  The messenger bag looks wider than the laptop bag.  Also, the next part says to do the herringbone pattern on the base for 20 rows for the laptop bag and 50 rows for the messenger bag.  But, the laptop bag looks longer than the messenger bag.  Are these directions reversed?  Did you do it just like the pattern says?  I'm so confused!!!  Thanks.

You just switched them around.  Directions for the laptop bag  are in parentheses.

so for the laptop bag....you cast on 12 stitches and herringbone stitch for 50 rows.

Personally, I think they should have made seperate pages for each bag.  It gets confusing.

Hmmmmm.....

I don't know if this has been previously asked....

But.......

does anyone have a pattern to knit a gun?

Or perhaps a guitar?
